Gaming December 9th

Post by Dungeon Lord » Tue Nov 13, 2012 2:24 am

Hi All,

I was thinking of doing a Warmahordes day in Kuwana. Anybody interested?

I thought I would try to get some Japanese gamers to come too.

Apologies - Saturday the 8th is ToDs much anticipated epic event. Two days in a row is grounds for summary execution, so much as I'm craving a bit of warmachine, I'm gonna have to give this one a miss. Many apologies *kowtows flamboyantly*

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

Sorry, but I think I am in much the same boat as M_i_J. If I can make it, I will, but the 9th really isn't ideal I am afraid.

Ok. So when would people be free for a game?

Apart from a few people over at Christmas I don't have any plan apart from Epic day.
I'll put on a day in Tsu in the 3rd week of January. One table for rpg in the morning and then boardgames and other games the rest of the time.
Depending on interest it will probably be an any old game day. I'd rather have you all come and game and hang out than make it too exclusive. The rpg can have 6 players and will probably be The One Ring. I realise not everyone can make it to Tsu every month to ill run the campaign like a bus with the option to get on and off as and when it suits. Regulars welcome of course.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

...ummm... Ok. But let's not get off topic. I appreciate that you are planning a gathering but this section is about Warmachine and Hordes. And I am looking to get some people to play these systems together in December. Hopefully there will be some Japanese gamers coming too. Early days yet though.

I always make it an anything goes day with no restrictions so that everybody gets to play what they want. This is the first time it will be a Warmahordes day. Of course, if anyone wants to come to play something else, be my guest. But the main event will be Warmahordes.

Sorry DL. Totally off topic and hijacked basically I meant to say nothing until December Epic.
I tend to ramble a lot and write as a stream of consciousness so apologies. I've been avoiding the forums recently because I'm aware I think aloud all too often it makes me unpopular or worse game less.
Cheers dude. ;)

@DL - I'm off a bit at the end of December and start of January. It's about 2 weeks, total, but obviously it incorporates Christmas and oshogatsu. But, if we can work our schedules, it may be possible to find a day that suits. I'm off from 22nd dec to 6th jan. Christmas is out, as is 31st - 2nd jan. jan 5th is winter blitz, but other than that (hmmm) I could make myself available.

@ashmie - those dates go for you, too, chief. We need to do some 40k'in. :D
