Not necessarily today but in the past we while I have...

Painted up some Spetsnaz/Scouts for FOW

Worked on some reinforcements for my Beasts. Converting metal Ungors into Raiders. Painting up my Razorgor conversions.

Worked on some of my new Chaos Stuff (Mauler Fiend and Heldrake).

Started on my 12SS scouts and P4s.

Got my a** handed to me by Job and Voss in the biggest FOW ever played in Japan (4K points a side) :-(

That's about it.

Had a good time today getting demolished by Stuart in Epic and then suffering a slim defeat to Dave.

Also, yesterday, I picked up my Empire army box (not the battalion, but the new limited-time set) from Ikeda. Over 2,000 points of Empire in one box, a great deal. Now if only the Empire rulebook I ordered would arrive…

Holy Mollie! How do you get so much finished even such a short period.

And as for the Biggest FOW Game Ever Played in Japan, I might remind you that you ended the game with a lead in the VPs: 11- 9. In TW that is impressive.

After three days of working and falling asleep while my wife watches TV has led me to want to get some work done. I think the tanks beg for more work.

Went to visit the Epic lads before work and picked up the beautiful lion riding wood elf mini that was lovingly and expertly painted by Me_in_Japan. I hope my fluff writing and campaign games will do her justice. I also want to thank Tenorikuma who agreed to paint my undead pirates and has done a bloody fantastic job. Both of you are  just brilliant :D

I will get on to painting the Hoth Base hanger tomorrow and paint a wolf that is on my desk and is growling at me to get him done.

And good luck to Primarch and his rebellious, insufferable PC!

I wanted to get the astronomers tower, but GW wont let Ikeda san stock it so I would have had to pay full price (10,000 yen). He did have the basic watchtower in stock when I went (same one you have Ten), so I bought and converted that. It's still the same watchtower, but mine is significantly more Skaveny than the standard model.

Also, today I finished up a Howitzer and crew for my Royal Artillery battery and finished all of the painting on the 92nd Regiment of Foot, the Gordon Highlanders. Both the RA and the 92nd are based and once the glue has dried tomorrow I will paint and flock them.

Lots of things going on I see!

I have 1 day off this whole month so not much progress is being made but I bought some infinity models because they look great. Just assembled them.
What do you guys think about using Infinity models in 40k?

@ Seb: I'd say go for it. As long as the model is fitting and based relatively within the 40k format. I think the important thing is to find something you and hopefully your opponents like. I hope you can get some more time off this coming month, but I guess gardeners are particularly busy this time of year.

Today I did added some decals to US tanks and now I'm at Sweet of Oregon having biked here with the wife. When I get home I hope to apply the rest of the decals.

An army made of infinity models would look cool, but I thought you were doing DKoK?

@ Job
After this month I'm looking forward to the Shougatsu vacation :)

@Prim
Yup, In the GW/Forgeworld stuff I definitely like the DKoK range the best, but then I found the Urban War Triads range and saw the possibilities of making a Japanese themed IG army, which led me to look at the infinity miniatures.
Now I am all stuck between DKoK and Japanese themed, trying to combine the two doesn't seem to work ver well, but the triads in urban war are a little similar to the DKoK with their gas mask thing going on. The infinity minis would look good with the urban war, but not so with the DKoK

some regular guards and the pic below would make cool ogryns
