I continued the surprisingly long job of painting Temple Guard. They are old metal ones and have a lot more jewellery and stuff on them than the later plastic Sauruses. Also started putting magnets on their bases.

I saw The Hobbit yesterday. It was a pretty good movie, and would have been even better if they'd cut out about an hour of talking and had renamed it something more appropriate like "Thorin Oakenshield versus the White Orc". Anyway I loved the Golem scene.

Today, I worked a half day.

I went to Ikeda-san's fighting car and pedestrian traffic to find out he still has no Agrax Earthshade.

I came home and there were two ominous empty containers bought at Nitori placed next to my collection of sprawling toys. Is this some kind of message or is my wife competing for floor space in the north room?

Then, I voted. Interesting.

I went to Mozo with the wife and because we missed the 8:00 start time for the Hobbit, we went to see Bond instead, which was entertaining in its own right. Actually, it was partially a throwback and partially another reinvention. Colon was good. Dench was good. Craig was good, too. And there was some interesting angles and shots.

I guess I'll watch the Hobbit a little later.

Seems like you're really into that 'Iron Chef: Culinary Wars' game. Last week I made a couple of Tuna Sandwiches, but a Roast Chicken? I'm going to have a hard time facing that with nothing but a few sandwiches, a light salad and a bottle of ketchup. Hmmm... maybe I can scratch build some croutons for my salad.
