Grey. Black is too hard to nuance effectively on the tabletop.

Put a second coat of paint on the bastion I hope will be ready for this Sunday for someone to use. Also based several buildings in the works. Tested out some new material for terrain building and if it works, it will be good for the river I'd like to build and for making sandstone effects, etc. Cut out a very small hill from a sheet of insulation board and put the first coat on my primarch, my Justicar Thawn model and another terminator captain model. And based 10 or more, I lost count, marine arms. All in all, a productive day.
The one, the only.

Putting foot to butt all over the universe.

@Spevna - Have a safe trip. Uncharted Seas and Bolt Action in the new year?

Yesterday I began painting my Skaven watchtower, just the first layer or two of the main colour. I also based up 20 more Russians for Bolt Action. I hope to have all my BA models finished by the end of the New Year break.

That's beautiful Admiral. Is that Forge World? Have a great time Mus. I'm working Christmas day and Boxing day so think of me when you sit in your hall and smoke your pipe. Well cigars. Smoke em if you got em. :)
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

It's the standard GW Bastion kit. It's about 4000 yen or so I think.

I'm thinking about building some fortifications. I'm still trying to decide if I want to make a defense line (easy to build, low points, love that +2 go to ground bonus) or build a bastion (hard to build, more points, could get all the guys inside killed with a lucky shot, but would make a nice, high platform for da big gunz....)
And I've been steadily Squatifying Orks and building a Christmas present for my daughter. Pics of that when it's done.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

@konrad - the question is, which would look better on the tabletop? I reckon it's a close call, actually. But regardless, I think aesthetics should be considered when you're pondering what to build. For me, I'm building a bunker, more because I have a spare one in my cupboard than for any carefully considered reason.
