And I like the hair on your pilot.

Today I got my package from Renedra, so I might work on the fences I bought or basing my new Napoleonic cannons.
I'm thinking about ordering some Renedra fencing. How is it? What sort of length do you get in the pack?

I'll bring it in. I actually was so tired that I never broke the pack.

Mine too. I know a miniature is really cool when it's from an army I dislike but still want it. Orgres are a prime example. Not into the army but love the miniatures from them.

I found a lot of marauder miniatures too. Remember those. They made great minis.

Yep. I only have one marauder miniature, an old chaos thug. I would love to get a load of them.
I had quite a few but lost to the ages. The one I have is converted into a chaos centaur. I also wish I had more of them.

It sure felt like it. The downside is that there is only about half of what should have been there. Most of my cold one riders weren't there. My dark elf general and command are missing. My eldar army and epic forces are at about 10% of what should be there. I had a Titan legion for both the imperium and eldar. Not that it matters, two collector space marine medics were in the bunch and I needed two for one of my army lists. And I have too much painting to do anyway. I'll be painting till I'm old and grey to get both my W40k and Wfb armies done.

@PV Wow good times. I can see from that delivery and painting you are in a renaissance of hobby and gaming. Long may it roll. :D
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Yeah, I stopped because of moving abroad and never thought about getting back into it. I was too busy chasing skirts and playing sports. Those days are pretty much behind me now and I can return to an old passion. I can't wait to get gaming next month.

Taking a break from Ogres, I thought I'd try my hand at a colour scheme for my SoB.

Not 100% sure if I'm happy with it yet, still need to white highlight the armour and a brighter red highlight on the cloth.

The ivory and red looks cool. :)

Not sure if it helps or is important for your asthetics, but one tip I learned for doing blond hair was to use colours like snakebite leather (not sure what its equivalent is now) and then highlight up using desert yellow or something like that. This way you get a less anime feel and more of a flaxen blond - if that us what suits your image. :)

Ah...I have to get on to my building and painting!

Thanks for the tip! I guess elf players learn to paint blondes pretty quickly! ;)
