Tsu games weekend 2013 March 3rd.

Post by ashmie » Sun Feb 03, 2013 12:38 pm

-Updated-
Happening but now March 3rd only. I've had a word with the peeps, Job, Admiral etc and Saturday is not worth the expense as most can't make it or have made other plans. Look forward to gaming with you on the Sunday.

Dear Japan gamers,
Despite many setbacks to put this together I can confirm that the Sunday will now go ahead as planned.
You are cordially invited to Tsu Games Day 2013. Join us on Sunday from 10am for some games be it RPG, Boardgames, cardgames. 500 yen entry for one day.
Please find us on the 4th floor of Center Palace.
Please don't comment on this thread as I'd like to leave it clean. Please PM or e mail with any questions or problems you may have. Let me know when you will be attending and what you wish to play and I'll update this page accordingly.
For more info please e mail andrewgloy@gmail.com.
New players as well as veterans welcome.
Ash.

Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Same plan as before. Now more tables and more pick up games. Come along if you can.

wait a sec... Didn't you send me, like 3 emails today saying this was cancelled? What? huh? eeeeeeeeh?

So, just to confirm, for the first time, for the last time, you, Ash, will be booking a room in Center Palace in Tsu on March 2nd and 3rd, for people to play RPGs and wargames. Specifics tbc, but probly some One Ring, 40k, and whatever folks bring along, yes?

Sorry to be pernickety, but when I get emails saying something is defo cancelled then see big posters on the same day saying "It's OOOON" I get confused... :?

ps - while I'm not enough of a nonce to demand you change it, it's Battle for Alabaster, not 4. The English teacher in me despises "cool" abbreviations

pps - :D just to make it clear I'm not actually that bothered :D

It's on yes. And I added the 4 to make it sound more 80s metal. For the benefit of the poster.
The event I had planned and booked is cancelled yes. This is the all new Tsu Games Weekend. Bigger, more space, more tables, more people and more pick up games. Still expecting you on the Sunday if you can make it with the Battle for Alabaster. :D

I will endevour to do my best to try and be there :D

out of interest, BfA arrived today. The painter part of my brain is weeping at the teeny tininess of the detail on the minis, coupled with the volume of em. Lovely sculpts, but because theyre actually normally proportioned (unlike GW stuff) they just seem so small. I'm not disappointed, I just dont know how in t'heck I'm going to paint em all.

I guess if it is actually going to be there, I'll come down on Saturday.

I'm up for 40k (Rob? still coming down?), Magic (Jesse? still coming?) and boardgames.

It's simple. "Cool" abbreviations, such as using the numeral 4 to represent the similar sounding word "for" are purely cosmetic and serve no practical purpose other than to attempt to look cool. Acronyms, otoh, are a useful method of speeding up the typing of something which would otherwise take an unnecessarily long time to write.

Does that satisfy your curiosity, O picker of nits?

It's precisely this nit picking about small things which had me nearly cancelling the event in the first place.

At this stage it's probably fair to say the Saturday is cancelled and the Sunday is closed to wargaming.
I tried my best guys. Sorry but it's not going to work this time around. Maybe another time hey. Peace. :)
