I put together some Eldar jet bikes and started a warlock on jet bike conversion :) I also watched a video on an airbrushing technique here:

Might give it a go.

Hard to get hold of the Freak Flex Transparent Paint that was used in the video though. I wonder if Tamiya Clear thinned down would work?

I guess that the GW washes would work.

Don't much fancy airbrushing GW washes. I don't think my wallet could take it...

Tamiya clear should be ok, but be aware it does weird things if you thin it with water. Tamiya thinner, otoh, is peachy.

Incidentally, zenithal highlighting like that is exactly how I did all my chaos marines and daemons. You don't need to use the transparent colours (altho there's nowt wrong with it.) You can just use 3 tones of the color you want to end up with. Going grey first allows you to use the black undercoat as tone 1, mind you. I used a Tamiya dark green spray, iirc, then airbrushed on a lighter green then a kinda beige colour. I thiiiink I may also have given them a greenish red wash afterwards too, but whatever. The principle is sound :)

Hearing all the talk about airbrushing makes me dread putting my models next to all of yours. But can't wait to see them still.

I finished off this guy that I bought. He had some work done on him. Nice base on him though. And then I built the cannon on him to use as a conversion Beamer.

And I now officially hate shoulder pads. I finished painting all 20 of them and will put them on tomorrow. And if I time I will pick up the foam core for building my gaming table and the grass mats to go with.
The one, the only.

Yesterday I went for a twenty minute run-walk and then celebrated by base coating my celts, pulp minis and Empire mascot olive yellow. A nice colour from Tamiya. I'm aiming to clear my bench this week.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

@Ash: wow! In this weather you are tough to go out exercising.

Today I worked on my WFB house.

I've been dividing my time between cleaning up and assembling BfA minis (tedious, but necessary), researching mortgages (also tedious but necessary) and playing Doom 3 (neither tedious nor necessary :P )
