@MiJ - Good paintjob on a lovely mini.

@Adm - Looks good but the pic is a little grainy. Any chance of something clearer?

Great stuff guys!

@Admiral - The streaks are awesome! :) Zoom Zoom Zoom!

@MiJ - I think any gent would be thrilled to find her under the Christmas tree ;) :D

Today I:
- tried a pre shading technique with a Dire Avenger only to discover that I need a much darker grey under the white to make the shading stand out :(

- Made and painted some rocks, and painted a 12" by 12" square of wood and polystyrene

- 90% painted a big beastie, just have to paint his gnashing teeth

Today was more work on my Red Tide, 45 Russians and some support teams. They aren't finished yet, but they are reaching the point where the finish line is in sight. :D

Hmm battlescape terrain. A work in progress

And... Brother Epistolary Corvo of the Blood Angels, my most expensive conversion to date, but I love it.

Wow! A whole space hulk box set just for one librarian torso! That is an expensive conversion! :P

Nice work, chief, and good use of a nice model, too. Kudos to Badruck for the skull, too. Job's a good un. Any chance of a paint job on it in the near future (yeah, I know, I'm one to talk when it comes to producing actual painted minis...)

@MiJ: my ten thunders are all ninja/samurai. No Oiran I'm afraid.
BTW I think DC Comics may be getting in touch in the next few days re: your blatant Poison Ivy rip-off. I mean, they and Marvel own the TM to the term 'Superheroes' and all. Maybe you can get the same lawyers as Chapterhouse. :D :D :D
Seriously though, nice work mate!

Heh! Now you mention it, aye - Poison Ivy all the way. In my defence, my initial thought process was "that dress looks like reptile scales or something. Lets paint it green." After doing so, I got to the "hmmm, what colour to do the rest...well, the dress is green - let's make her a redhead for contrast." I imagine this is pretty much what the good folks at DC, thought, too.

Re: oiran - no worries, I just thought to throw it out there in an optimistic stylee :) I'm still torn between Oiran for the showgirls and getting the Lynch crew. I'm not very enamoured with Mr. Graves and Mr. LittleSneakyDudeWhoseNameEscapesMe, but the rest of the range is aces (Illuminated, Depleted, Beckoners, and the Lynch box itself.) I'm very impressed with the sculpts.

Does anybody know how Wyrd are producing these new plastics? Is it the same way GW do theirs? I can't believe that Wyrd are turning over the kind of cash they'd need to do that, but if not, how are they getting their plastics?

@ Jus, good work mate. Nicely done. Is that a Space Hulk mini conversion? Good to hear from you.
I had a break from the forums for 3 months or so (well it may have been a few weeks). Feel better for it.
Happy gaming. ;)
@ MiJ: Foxy red head. Can I get her number? Oh no I can't. Table top standard my arse. :)
Brilliant!
@Admiral. Nice red! Good stuff.
