Today I finished off my Russians. 40 Infantry, an MG team and a heavy mortar - 46 minis and 2 guns total - painted, varnished, based and flocked within a week. Not a bad rate of painting.

Today I did more frilly pink bits, but ran out of time before I got to the choppy bits and laces. Should finish tomorrow. If I do, pics will be forthcoming

No worries, I have an equal numberof Germans too. If I get everything I have painted and finished I think I have over 2K for each army. My usual habit of buying too much has already kicked in.

Yesterday I went up to Seki and the Colonel and I had a game of FOW. It was mission we both hadn't played before, and the tank battle went it my direction after some maneuvering and luck being on the side of the Americans. Still, well fought engagement and then we played Tank Aces. Did two battles at 500 points. It was a really fun diversion. The Germans edged in a victory each time. A very good afternoon of gaming.

Shot a lot if Ruskies but did t capture any objectives. Had nomihodai after. Am now drinking a tall G&T. All in all a very good day.

Worked. Now I am working on some light horsemen to bait the beasties.

Got my Ruskies shot at a lot, but luckily we had enough bodies to weather the German storm.

A fun afternoon of gaming and a couple of cold beverages after. Great stuff.
