Sure you can borrow it. Just as long as you take extra special care. It's a traycased hardback signed by each author limited edition to 200 copies. ;)

Got my grey knight squad all finished :D and finished a power weapon arm for my commander which came out nice with interchangeable heads for thunder hammer or power axe action.
Then spent the whole morning printing out w40k docs for next weeks game and got to work on my custom unit cards which look great. Then washed my baby t. You gotta love 13 above weather. Just makes me more energetic.

I've previously admitted to having a bit of a soft spot for her particular brand of somewhat melodramatic pop, but this one was just taking the p. Seriously, 10 fricking minutes of her lolling about in her undies in an oh-so-tragic faux asylum, and still no song. Wherez da pop tunes, lady? It's also really hard to take a video seriously when all it does is put you in mind of "National Express" by The Divine Comedy...

.
I watched about 5 minutes of it. The giant samurai robots didn't show up, so I lost interest.
That National Express bit was fun.

Speaking of giant samurai robots, is anybody else really excited about Guillermo del Toro's new movie Pacific Rim? I haven't seen any mention of samurai, but there are defo giant robots in it. Also big kaiju and much fighting between said giant robots and (presumably evil and bad) big gribblies. In other hands, I'd be wary, but señor del Toro knows his onions when it comes to working with big fantasy tropes, so I have faith that this movie will rock. It also has Ron Perlman in it, who I totally rate as an actor.

Yesterday, I did a bit more chopping and a fair whack of grey-stuffing. Not much to show for it, tho.

Well got a ton of laminating done for all the w40k rules from all the important codex pages I printed out and finished the printing of my card expansion series for w40k. Just cutting left to do tonight. Didn't do any modelling at all but I did download all the dark heresy, deathwatch, rogue trader and dark crusade books. Does anyone out there have a group that plays this system. From a glance, looked good.

Had a leisurely wander through the Dragon Warriors rules again and finally cracked the game mechanic for the One Ring. Looking forward to a weekend of geekery.

You know the monsters will be ace!
If only the world's real problems, drug abuse, child labor, global warming, could be solved with giant robots smashing things.

Today I finished off building a Panzer IV kit for my Bolt Action Germans. It's a nice model but a lot of small bits to it.
I also continued working on some terrain for NagoyaHammer.
