A Rum, Tequila and Whiskey cocktail? Or Rome: Total War?
Either way, I think you are on to a winner.

Today I got up early and finished off my two Necron Night Scythes ready for NH2013. Not a bad start to the day.

What I have is a huge pile of unpainted, semi-painted and poorly painted High Elf models. :(

As I felt a bit sick of the standard GW colour scheme (white and blue) I painted up one of the Island of Blood Swordmasters in a different style, green being the main colour with grey trim along the edges. It looked ok, but I couldn't really see myself doing a whole army of it. On top of which, I already have over 1000 points of minis that have the white/blue scheme and I don't fancy repainting them anytime soon.
Time to begin a Bretonia army, where no two models are alike! :D

The last two weeks I've redisovered the pleasures of RTW! :)

Which also translate into I've done no work on models for the same period of time. :?

Put some trees on a building to get them out of the way and the gf of course sees it and says, now that's nice. Go figure. A bit more work to get these things ready for use.

howdy strangers :) Apologies for not posting in this thread for a bit - been trundling with the painting of stuff for naghammer. Almost there, now, though.

Anyway, Ive also been puttering around on ebay. Yknow how sometimes you just get that "Must buy something" itch? Well, it's been bugging me recently. So, I bought a coupla things (nowt too scary - just 20quid or so). The reason I mention it is that on one of the orders I screwed up my shipping addy vs shipping costs (Id been changing em around cos its often cheaper to get stuff posted to my parents in scotland), and the seller of the screwed-up order proved to be an absolutely top bloke who has been jumping through hoops to enable muggins here to get his stuff and sort out the right money. It took a couple of days and a lot of emails, but it has now been sorted. So, if you should be perusing ebay looking for minis, keep an eye out for a seller called murphy-trading. He's a very reasonable bloke from Ireland and although I haven't actually got my models in hand yet, I think I owe him a recommendation shout-out after what he's done.

Incidentally - @Pikey - I was keeping an eye on some perky daemonettes (not to buy - I've just heard they sell well), and aye - 150dollars for 20 of em by the end. If you're ever short of cash, yon perkies youve got should sort you out :)

@MiJ: Trouble is, I quite like my R-rated Daemonettes and shall be keeping 'em handy. The current G-rated versions are Ok as sorta scary Female-ish Demon thingys but don't strike me as manifestations of the God of lust (amongst other things)....

Those French lads over at Raging Heroes have a nice suitably, saucy version though...

In fact they do a lot of nice stuff. Being a fan of SF/Fantasy females I am a little biased though. Another point in their favour, is that they are not GW :D

Today I spent 260 pounds :? on the Warzone KS and now I cannot decide what I want to put in my order form. But no matter what I'll be swamped in miniatures for the next year or to

M.

PS: I think I managed to add another painted fig to the pile but with today's resin overdose I'm not very sure.

@miguel - 260 quid! good lord. I spent 20 quid in the past few days and I feel guilty about it...

Today I discovered that, assuming I buy 6 new jetbikes (assuming they release new jetbikes in the next few months, and that they are sufficiently cool to make me want to buy em) I will, with the help of a small yet talented contingent of dark eldar allies, be able to field 3000pts of corsairs.

Gosh.

So long as Jes is still in charge of all things Swooshy you should be fine. :D

Today I painted about 4 feet of hedges.

The last two nights I've actually put in some painting time with my M8 and jeeps for my armored recon platoon. I finished base coating the models. Last night I added a glaze to some of the surfaces and tonight I'll add the decals.

@ Prim: I've been playing Rome TW, but after reading your post, I think I've found a way to quadruple my fun. :D

@ Konrad: As for the Deschutes, there's only two places I know to get it: my refrigerator and Oregon. :D I've got four bottles left. Three winter ales and one summer ale. That and a bunch of old beers from the Florida Keys.

If you want one of the bottles of winter ale, I'll hook you up, but the summer ale is claimed by me. Sorry.

I'll also be heading back to Oregon in July for my brother's wedding, so I'm determined to bring back tons of beer. I'll see if I can get some Mirror Pond or Black Butte Porter for you if you like.
