I would love to have attended Salute. The Warlord forums have several threads discussing it and it looks like there was a lot of cool stuff to see/buy. The Bolt Action Omaha table looked spectacular.

@AGP - Keep us informed of your progress with the Dredd minis. They look really cool. :D

Today I put the base coat down on a Khadoran Warjack, undercoated some Malifaux rats and painted the treads on a Russian T-34. :D

Spent the day driving in circles in Tolouse, walking about Lourdes, then sightseeing in Gavarnie, napping an hour and now drInking too much at dinner. Now I'll go back to bed soon I think and dream of more mutton in gravy.

Spent today with my daughter and girl. Had a great time at the beach and floating boats down a small canal. Yesterday was gaming day in Ogaki and had a great time. As usual, Badruck was a great host and jus was on hand for some good laughs and times. Here's some pics ffrom the first game of space marines vs space marines and the second game of space marines vs the new tau!

And second game against the tau.

I spent the entire day discussing house stuff with the house company. Mostly this was rilly exciting things like "where, exactly do you want the electric sockets in the living room?" but a couple of good points were meeting the carpenter, who is this 72 yr old ex-car designer who seems dead keen to do cool stuff for us and is rather good at what he does (as an example, he has made actual wagons. As in "hitch yer wagon" wagons. Proper carpentry, like.) And, the house company took us out for lunch to a rather flipping good burger restaurant. Best burger I've had in donkeys years.

Got bugger all painting done, tho :(
