Where are you fine folks thinking to get your pointy eared fix from? Anybody got any better options?

Also, anybody know any nice Jetbike proxies I can use? I had been so sure GW would be sufficiently non-stupid to release a new jetbike mini, but clearly they either don't care or plan on releasing em as part of wave 2. If they do release em as wave 2, there are gonna be a LOT of people (including me) very pissed off at them for having wasted their cash on alternatives. Of course, clearly pissing off customers is where GW excel, so I fully anticipate some shiny new JBs come wave 2. I shall not be buying them, I might add.

Ive been getting my fix from eBay. I now have a butt load of the pointy eared buggers!!

I shall be using the Dark Eldar jetbikes sans spiky bits. That was my plan anyway as they look miles better.

Strangely enough GW has kept the price of the new plastic stuff in line with UK prices, probably becuase they have numbers that paint a bleak picture of the japanese market. Item plus, according to Dakka in some cases the bundles of 3 are cheaper :? is this a sing of the End Times :? but then the DA highway robbery reasures me that GW is working as intended.

Personally I'm going to skip the Wraithmeka and substitute it with some cool meka of the right size tho for the first time in some time the GW wraithguard (with alternate heads, can't stand the eggplant head) looks much better than the alternatives I can think of so I'll be buying them. The ranger guy and the flier have a high chance of being bought but I'll wait a little till I see how they perform.

What a bunch of b@st@rds! Either allow others to sell your products, or dont.

If anyone is interested, this guy has been producing some proxy Eldar kits. I quite like his stuff but havent bought anything so cant comment on the quality or his reliability.

Hum. That story about Aussie retailers getting the shaft does not bode well for my plans to buy off eBay or firestorm. As for those jetbikes, they are nice, and I like em, but for 22bucks each I can't help but think I might as well buy GW reavers. Much cheaper, sadly.

Sorry - I actually deleted that post when I realised you'd posted a pic of the warp spider page. My bad :)

@M_i_J - With jetbikes being repackaged into a new box, I wouldn't expect a 2nd wave with new jetbikes. Why would they waste the money on new packaging if they were just going to replace it in a month? They may get new bikes at some stage in the future, but I think they will be a long time coming.

well, I just bought 2 boxes of DE reavers. I'm gonna see what I can do with those bikes, some spare eldar JB canopies I have, and some guardian torsos. Should be funky, I hope :)

As for the wraithknight being similar in size to a titan, I dunno. My titan is reduced to its component parts just now, cos I decided I want to repose it significantly, as well as glue it properly this time. Besides, the size of the wraithknight is one of the things that bothers me about it. The fact that GW have chosen to highlight how big it is on their homepage splash screen just reeks of childishness.

GWAAAAAAA IT'S A BIG AND STOMPY ROBOT WHICH IS EVEN BIGGER AND STOMPIER THAN YOUR STOMPY ROBOT! COS ELDAR HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT BEING BIG AND STOMPY! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!!

Stoopid GW

*edit* Wraithknight is 9" tall. Revenant Titan is 12" tall to the head, assuming you havent posed him in a "I leap to the sky!!!!!" pose. If you do that, he's taller.
