I sort of have a soft spot for Power Rangers. I watch them sometimes with my kids and honestly, they do have an occasional cool looking villian in there. This thing would fit in quite nicely minus the tracks. Most def too smooth and ....rational?.... for Khorne. Spikes! Spikes! GW, where are the spikes?! Quite honestly, I suspect they toned down the "scary" on purpose.
Dark Elves all does make some good points. There is no comparing the stubby, clunky stuff GW made 20 years ago with what they can make now. I remember going over a sprue of those FB Undead Ghost Chariot things, and just thinking , "Damn, and in plastic too..."
I do disagree in a certain sense, that it is an "exciting" time to be in the "hobby" ie the "GW Hobby" tm, not miniature gaming. Getting "armies" is just too expensive and time consuming. That time factor may be one of the reasons for big robots. Less models means more time to buy and paint...more big robot models.... does that make sense? GW still makes lovely stuff, in most cases it sets the standard, but it's getting so expensive and I am so sick of their corporate practices, I really don't care much anymore. I'll quite happily build terrain out of old cardstock and play little skirmishy games with figs I've had for 15 years or built out of bitz I scrounged off of the Madmiral. It is an exciting time for miniature gaming though. So many companies, so many toys to choose from, so much good stuff out there.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Good point about the prices, Konrad.

And with competitors offering quality for much less, it does improve the hobby as a whole :)
