If you dont want to go back to half painted models, strip them and start again or dont leave them half done.
as a rule, i dont leave models half painted for this reason. Altho, to clarify, its not that i dont like going back and finishing a half-done model, its more that once ive deemed a model "finished" i dont go back and make it better. My dragons, (and autarch, now i think on it) have never been "finished", thus, i feel ok about going back and finishing them. My spiders, however, are done, never to be painted again, even tho i could probably do a better job, now.

I was the same way but then I looked at my daemons and though I know I could do a better job on the Nurgle models after seeing the ones you did...

its all in the airbrushing, mate. (no, really, it is. my nurgle marines were painted fairly traditionally, but the tanks, daemons, and blight drone were almost totally airbrushed, details excepted.)

They still look ok though. Its not like Nurgle needs a crisp, detailed colour scheme. Same thing goes for your Khorne daemons. Dont you have other things that need painting without redoing an entire army that you did not so long ago?

I've started work on my Arcanists crew for Malifaux. I undercoated them all by hand today (stupid humidity) and I hope to get a few more colours on them before bed-time.

almost finished the egregore. Not that happy with it, tbh. It's a mini that screams "OSL me!", which is all well and good, but i have neither the time nor the inclination to blend the whole thing from bolt gun metal to lemon yellow (two colours which should never, ever, meet, imho), and without the OSL the mini looks...a bit meh, frankly. Really, I shouldnt have picked Cryx if i didnt want to do OSL.Oh well, onwards and upwards :)

Its been a while, but here are some of my recent labours. I just need to do some bases and my Death Marshals are done and so is my Arcanists Ice Golem.

First up, Lady Justice, the sword swingingest gal in Malifaux.

Next, the Judge her faithful sidekick.

The meatshields...er I mean Marshals.

The whole crew.

And my Ice Golem. Cool.
