Yknow, that's probly the best take on the hemlock I've yet seen. Mostly because of its more-than-passing resemblance to the DE fighter :P

Nice PJ, Kbear. I'm feeling pretty airbrushy myself just now, but alas, all my stuff is packed up and likely to remain so for the next month or so. Hum. Maybe I could sneak in a cheeky session during the holidays...

I will shelve my elf-hate for a few moments and say, "Nice, nice stuff Koji. Love the web pattern."
I putzed around making a sidecar for a SquatOrk bike. After an hour of chopping and glueing, I scrapped it as too cumbersome and decided to go with just a couple of platforms/running bars off the side.

Today I managed a bit of puttering around with minis. I assembled a corsair, which is fiddlier than it sounds, as they are made up of guardian bodies, dark Eldar arms, ye olde Eldar special weapons, and forge world backpacks and heads. However, now the prototype is done, the remaining chaps should be easy enough. I also made the first mould halves for my jetbike bits, and sat pondering Yriel for a bit. Not sure what to do with him to make him different. Nowt wrong with the basic model or owt, I just want to make him not-yriel. A head swap is on the offing, but will a right bugger because of his collar. Ah well - ganbarou...

@ Koji: Very nice. I'll look forward to seeing it on Saturday, hopefully on my side.

Today I worked on this and that. I did a tidbit on my space marines, received my sprue from Perry miniatures and assembled the models and did a bit of converting, painted a bit on my Sherman ATV and cooked two dinners.

After work, I did no painting and little hobbying. I just glued on a heavy bolter to scout, another to a stand and packed and prepared for the big battle in Ogaki. Then I settled into a dinner of clam chowder I cooked a couple nights ago and a nice Deschutes Black Butte Porter. :D Ah, the stuff is true black gold and I recommend it to anybody who is passing through the distributing area of Deschutes Brewing company.

Today I decanted the first batch of jetbike parts from their moulds. So far, so good :). I also stuck together some bits of corsairs. Oh, and I lost 75,000yen on forex when the yen climbed against the pound. That was a bad part of my day :( Seriously, I cannot understand how people can do that stuff for fun or profit. I'd have a bloody heart attack if I tried it for more than about a week. Only reason I'm paying it any mind just now is cos of money my dad sent me for house-buying purposes (not a whole house's worth, but a fair chunk o change nonetheless.) Its currently sitting in my account in GBP, and this morning was worth about 75,000yen more than it is now. Gah! Anybody got a future see-o-scope I could borrow?

Are you actually trading on Forex.com, or are you just using their rates to measure how much you have?

Forex can be very risky if you can't really afford to lose the money. I used to know a guy who did Forex trading as his primary source of income. He spent literally all day studying economic news, comparing reports and trying to guess what would happen next. When he was successful he was very happy. When he was unsuccessful then he usually left things until the currency recovered, which could take years in some cases.

The Yen/Pound rate is a tricky one. It's currently pretty good compared to what it used to be a year ago, but it is still way lower than it was seven or eight years ago.
