I also figured out a fairly quick and easy conversion for the new Grav-guns in the marine codex as I am not going to buy a full box of tactical marines for every gun I want.
Tomorrow I will spend my free time army list-ing and points total-ing to rebuild my current armies to account for their new chapter tactics.

Grav-gun photo please :)

And today I got most of a deff-kopta painted.

Anything for my adoring public.

GW's original taken from the Marine 'Dex.

My conversion, made from a marine bolter and two different Necron guns.

A biker with a grav gun. (The model had it's paint stripped off a while back, which is why it looks so fugly).

And this is the pile of stuff I am sorting through.

@JR- interesting conversions, even without Kitty chan heads.
@Jus- he's back and Back in Black! Templars are much more difficult to mock than Blood Angels. A challenge!
@Prim- you need to make them look like Buck Rodgers, ray-guns! I have some Gundam bits left over from my Squat SAG that would be perfect.
I manged to get a couple of hours painting in. Got my little cute bulldozer about half done. Dusty, rusty and yellow.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Nothing to show just yet.
We have to get in some Inquisi/Necromunda one of these days. Alternately, I was paging through (both pages) of FUBAR and the 4OK add on the other day. It would be most intriguing to see if there is 2000 pages worth of fun in those 2 pages.

For sure! That actually gives me a good idea.

We could play a game of 40k on the shanty town board using these rules;

http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_Cus ... 13_(6).pdf

and then play with the same forces using the FUBAR rules. Would make for an interesting comparison.

This month and next I am busy as all buggery but we could definitely get something in for early November. Not to worry, Fort Spevna shall beckon you.

@ Prim: Well-done with the conversion.

Yikes! I began painting the 60 landswehr models. This may take awhile. I might retreat and build the horses for my hussars.

They do stand out. :D
Minotaurs (new colour scheme) are one of the chapters I am toying with. It's not a tough one to paint, unlike the previous one.
