Like MiJ, I used a small company. Have been very happy. Had one or two problems this year with a leak, but they took care of it .

Most of their stuff is quite modern looking but they can do anything in any style.
Cheers for the info guys. I think a lot of the price differences come from the materials used. If you have an iron frame or even the unit style set up that Sekisui and Toyota use, you end up paying through the nose for it. We've shopped around a bit (10 builders so far) and we've managed to get the price down by 10 million from the first one we looked at. We aren't in a rush so we will keep looking until we find 3 or 4 we like and then get quotes from them to compare prices. If I have any questions, I know who to ask. :D

@J-R - There might be an option on imageshack to post a thumbnail sized picture. (I don't use imageshack, but similar web services have that option). Your original image is double the size of my screen, so there is no way for the forum to show anything that size.

Today my son helped me tidy my mancave. This consisted of him shouting orders at me while I took stock of everything in the cupboard. I managed not to roll a blunder. I also discovered I have way more minis than I thought. Just found an unpainted Persian army as well as painted armies for American Civil War.
Thinking about painting some ECW or Spartans tomorrow. :)

A day off today on my lonesome, in which time was spent busily doing nothing of much real life value, and all the more enjoyable for it. Started with a couple of hours on the time sink that is Skyrim. The first 3 seasons of Breaking Bad are on Hulu now, so I painted my 10 commandos for Bolt Action whilst watching several episodes. I've seen the early episodes before, but they are so good they warrant a rewatch before I get on to the finale, which I have yet to see. The commandos came out nicely (for me) and I am very chuffed with them.
Am about to head out for a jog to end the day.

BB is a great show. Change over to Netflix, they have all 5 seasons.

Never seen breaking bad, but I hold out hope the one day I'll have the time to actually watch it.

This evening was spent talking to Ashmie. Tis good to have him back, and in a far better state of balance than his sales pitch would perhaps lead you to believe :) Clearly the southlands' country air agrees with him.

I really enjoyed Breaking Bad too; it is pretty much the only non-comedy show that I have managed to get through all the seasons of. Although I found it a bit slow at the end of season 2 and for most of season 3, it was definitely worth watching till the end!

Currently on season 1 episode 3 of Breaking Bad. Bacon sandwich did not go well with opening scene so I switched to The Trip. Love breaking bad so far, that first episode is a work of art I'd go as far to say.
How do you get Netflix in Japan, Mus?
Do they have it now?

@ MiJ, yes the Westcountry air and cider did me good. Thanks for the call and the welcome back. Much appreciated. That sales pitch is a good one. Loads of goodies ;)
