Chaos marines are done (pics when my slightly-late order of bases makes it through the international postal system).

I've got some more termagants in the bullpen, but I think it's time to take a quick break from ASC and finish up those trolls.

Last night I managed to get a little more paint on my Dragoons, doing their water canteens and their scabbards. Not much more to do on them now. I also started assembling some US Infantry for Bolt Action, though I didn't get very far.
Today I finished reading Armies of Italy and the Axis for Bolt Action. Lots of new forces to choose from including: Italy, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Finland. If only I had the time and money to do everything...

Nice judges!

I... looked at the price of a box of Cadian Shock Troops and thought idly about whether the grenade launcher would look all right if one replaced the barrel with a lascannon barrel one had hanging around.

Got some painting in for the first time in ages.

Got inspired by the Space Crusade stuff, so put a bit of work into my space hulk minis. Finished a few hybrids, a couple of stealers and the first terminator. Did him as my favourites the Mentor Legion - Need to with up the nerve to try free handing the old owl head chapter badge!

I have the rules for power armour marines in Space Hulk. I can put them against your hybrids.

Very nice! Nice clean white, too - I know from painful personal experience how tough that can be to pull off.

I...took the first painful steps down the road towards a nicely done garden. Damn but those things are effing expensive. So much so that I'm sorely tempted to see what I can do for myself. On a side note, yesterday I finished Tomb Raider. It was...ok. I mean, no obvious problems, and very pretty, but neither were there any particularly memorable bits, in retrospect. It was, however, interesting to see that it was written by Rhianna Pratchett, daughter of Terry. Whodathunk? Contrastingly, the first 10mins of Dead Space 3 made me pee my pants about 3 times, as well as being very memorable. I'm looking forward to some scary late evenings come the weekend :) and some Starcraft on the new PC. And some further work on Plaguey. And maybe getting some actual painting done on my corsairs.

Dammit. Why are there only 24 hours in a day? :(

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

Today my students requested their classes to be more strict and difficult. Blimey this business English is a turn up for the books after alt work. :) happy to have some responsibility at last.
No painting today but I can dream.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.
