@YS - I'll have a look over my spares and see what I have, though I will probably be building most of the minis to use for my own SoDaS forces. Give me a heads up before you order those Spaniards though, I might have a couple of minis to tag on to your order if you don't mind?

Today I painted the helmets on 40 or so GI's and assembled the wheels for a Sherman tank.

Saw the second hobbit movie with some friends..thought it an improvement on the first, some great touches, but ultimately felt bombarded by it all towards the end..it is a breathless collection of CGI set pieces. Less is more isn't an adage Peter Jackson holds much store by. Felt like watching someone play a computer game over their shoulder at times. Still, the good bits are good, Laketown had some nice renaissance touches which seemed very Warahmmer Old World, Stephen Fry was fun, Freeman great. Doesn't feel like it has the heart of LOTR though.

But it has the CAST of LOTR doesn't it? I heard that Viggo Mortensen was offered the chance to play Aragorn in the movie, but turned it down on the grounds that his character wasn't in the book. Luckily Orlando Bloom needed the cash, or Peter Jackson might have had to actually make a film based on The Hobbit rather than his own fan-fiction. :D

School staff meeting yesterday afternoon (which I don't have to attend) so I spent a productive late afternoon in the art room painting a "Squatork" Slava. Not done yet, but got it a good 3/4 finished.
