Yesterday I cleaned up 10 Ashigaru and got them ready for priming. I also got some paint down on the various minis currently on my painting table. Nothing is done yet, but progress is being made.

Cleaned up, assembled, based and sprayed 24 of the 32 infantry needed for my Bolt Action Fallschirmjagers, the rest are in the post, or will be soon. When I get painting, it'll be the first time having a crack at camoflage. I found a useful page here which isn't a bad start as a WWII paint guide.

I added a few more buildings to the shanty town. I tried out graffiti decals on one of them. Came out looking pretty cool I thought.

Got two more buildings on the home, but I need more black paint.

Anyway, here is how big looks set up as a 4x4 table.

Ishida and Tokugawa? Interesting choices. Which clan/battle are you planning to center your army around? I haven't really decided on a faction for myself yet, so if you have a clan you want to make, then I will paint my forces to make a suitable enemy. I have miniatures for Ii Naomasa, Date Masamune, Uesugi Kenshin, Kato Kiyomasa and Tokugawa Ieyasu already.

One thing to be aware of with the Wargames Factory plastics is that you get 25 men in each box, with 15 standing, 5 kneeling and 5 running. Having running men next to kneeling men may look a little strange, so if you want to exchange some with me, I am happy to trade with you. We should talk about unit sizes at the next Joshin. I think Kondo san will also be interested in playing games in the Sengoku era, so we should talk to him as well.

あのゲームは楽しみです。

@J-R - That certainly looks like a big tank. Are you planning to use it for gaming? More importantly, will you cover it in Hello Kitty parts?

Today I put a couple decals on the Sdkfz 250/9 and then in the evening worked on washes and chipping on the model.
