There are 4 years between these two images, my IG has grown but it's still half painted  Sometimes I think that either I stop buying or I'll die before I paint it all.

@Miguelsan - Sounds about right, paint till you die should be the IG player's motto.

Yesterday I assembled an M20 Armoured Utility Car for my Bolt Action Americans, then a handful of Waffen-SS infantry for my Germans, all while drinking beer and watching old Clint Eastwood movies (For a Few Dollars More and Magnum Force). Today I am trying to get some painting done on some Celts.

 I dream of putting all that stuff one day on the table using Krieg Assault rules that allows the recycling of all infantry squads and force my opponent quit in tears.

PS: I need a meltagun for my veterans. I can exchange some bits (scions heads or parts for example) or use filthy money too!

Finally got my first Kiwis done for Bolt Action...

Just the mandatory platoon so far, but the rest of 1000pts is well on the way.

I also lost control and splurged on yet another 'top secret' project, which should hopefully be up and running by the summer.

No hobby to speak of recently, working, sleeping, baby stuff, supermarket at the weekends just about covers it. Nice though, this domesticity lark. However, did order a couple of things from hasslefree (bases mostly) for Dredd. Also pondered what to do for a playthrough of Baldur's Gate - it's my favourite game of all time, but which character class for a run through the whole trilogy? Single class? Dual class? Multi-class? It's the eternal dilemma for BG players. Talk about first world problems, eh.

@ MtP: These Kiwis look good.

Today I will put my hand to a brush again and try to do at least a little work on my projects. Probably, Sdkfz first.

@Miguelsaan these are not GW approved, not enough money spent on the Ferrari of plastic models :P

Top added and tracks rustified needs some touch ups here and there
Also put together 2/3 of my wargames factory russians's hope to do the Last 1/3 tonight.

I like the checkered pattern camo. And the rusting looks good on the tracks. What did you use? Pigments?

And the wood or leather trackguards look cool.

job wrote:Today, I managed to do nothing modeling-wise, but I did play a game of 40k with Justin afterwork. It was just a 750 point game to work on the rules, and we spent some time on a few rule inquiries. m in a house and then helping to shoot down the Canoness and battle sisters holding on to the objective.

What I learned:
• Beware of flamers. Their defensive fire is very daunting.
• Beware of flankers. Keep enough bodies about a CSM lord at all times on all sides!
• 40k is a very random and chancy game at times. There were daemonic elevations, missed charges, armor saves that went both ways, mysterious objective markers providing benefits or suddenly exploding and scattering units holding them!
Thanks for coming over and playing, I had a blast! :D What I learned:
• Need more range. Hammer and Anvil deployment hurts my medium-range shooty army. Need Heavy Bolters or Exorcists. Joe's Autocannon-wielding CSMs did a fair amount of damage despite my 3+ power armour due to volume of fire and they never came under any threat.
• 40k is a very random and chancy game at times - this is true but it also makes it funny. Joe's cultists always seemed to roll a 6 for run distance when running away from the sisters, but seemed far less enthusiastic when moving forwards!
So many games, so little time....

Last night I finished off two more buildings for the shanty town :)

I've got two more on the table, and hopefully they'll be done by the end of the week.
