Bolt Action Diggers

Post by YellowStreak » Sun May 25, 2014 10:58 am

So I've never done a hobby log before, but as I've started my first Bolt Action Army I thought I'd break new ground with my first WWII miniatures and a Hobby Log.
As I got a good few free painting hours in yesterday, I knocked out a Damiler Armoured Car and have got a start on the first of the diggers.

Fantastic work mate.

Great to see more people painting for Bolt Action, a real variety of forces cropping up recently. Good stuff.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Got the email today that the rest of my order is on the way - more diggers, a Matilda Tank and their counter-force in the Pacific, the Imperial Japanese Army!

I know what I'm going to be painting for a while!

Got some more work done on the pacific Aussies yesterday. Decided on real jungle-ly bases, quite different from any bases I've done before.

I haven't been particularly discriminatory about which figures I painted, so I think I have too many SMGs and not enough rifles at the moment! More riflemen, an officer, some NCOs and support weapons (mortar, sniper, ATR, flamethrower) are next in the pile!
