Well, more problems from my last place. Started hatching the past few days. That and some nasty black stuff started falling off of stuff I hadn't sanitized yet. Looks like I got a 'nid infestation.
Knuckled down and plowed through some more stuff though. Also went shopping and got a nice little painting counter to work with along with some other needed things.

It's easy to die in the swamp. What's hard is to staying dead.

Nothing finished today, but I got the basecoat down on 3 Killa Kans, and based about 20 RT Eldar, and a RT a Eldar dreadnought.

YMMV. It could have done with a "warning: this will only make sense to serious fans of the comic". For the rest of us, it's a waste of ten minutes.

I rebuilt my Gorkamorka squigoth. Eric and I played a few games yesterday... I really like the feral ork mob. Most of the game my Fikiez are hitting each other in the head... My bad for giving them chopaz.
I finally got around to building a Brut and a wiredboy for them. Next I need to actually paint a few fickies.well before that get the wild boyz put together...

A scorcher today, festival going on in the district for the second day, but you've seen one and you've seen 'em all. So, didn't do much bar laze around, do chores and fuss over the baby, not that that's a wasted day.
Have been reading the 40k 7th ed fluff though this Sunday, and quite enjoyed it. Dredd models have received a lot of attention of late, so they ought to be happy - It's time therefore to actually get 1000 points of something grimdark finished I reckon, so that I have another system to play. Perhaps tomorrow I'll list something up and make a concrete start.
Watched some Nigel Kneale TV show on DVD called Beasts. He's the cult writer of such classics as Quatermass, the Stone Tape, etc (classic TV sci-fi horrors). Halfway through, but feel quite underwhelmed with Beasts so far. Hopefully the second half will redeem it somewhat.
@Badruck, all this talk of Orks reminds me, we should sort out somewhere to exchange cash for minis sometime

I bet you didn't yell squeal with excitement everytime a new mutant showed up on the screen either.AndrewGPaul wrote:Primarch wrote:... X-Men: Days of Future Past, which was awesome and the now obligatory after credits teaser was suitably cool.

I guess if you weren't that in to the comics, then teasers at the end of the movie aren't going to do much for you.

I know very little about X-Men. But, since I was jumping up and down in my seat when I saw a reference to Fatties, Chopper, The Judge Child, Sternhammer etc. in the Dredd movie...I know exactly what you mean.
I hear very good things about the X-Men movie, and Dinklage's presence ensures that I have to see this.

Re: What did you do today.
Dinklage is in the film, but despite being the bad guy of the piece, he doesn't really have a lot to do with the story. He's no Tyrion in this one. Magneto and Professor X take centre stage for most of the movie.
Today I did a little painting and got a couple of washes down on some minis. Not a lot, but it's a step in the right direction.

Haven't done any painting for a few days. The mojo, she is gone
*shrug*
I did finish Dishonored on the PS3 (a fine game, and worth a shotty for fans of Thief) and this evening I had a pleasant time in the company of a bottle of heartland, a bag of pistachios and Kick-Ass, a movie which (despite having Nicholas Cage in it) is so good I almost feel compelled to use expletives about it. I know it's a few years old, but yeah - awesome
I've also been reading dark eldar novels. Darn it, now I want a Tantalus...
