In other news, Other Driver is being unhelpful. And a bit fickle, too. On Monday his insurance company called and said he had admitted 100% culpability. So we put our car in for repairs. Then today his insurers called again and said he'd changed his mind, and actually he thinks it was my fault again. Our insurer has said he is Odd, and recommended siccing the lawyers on him. Since the lawyers will be paid for by our insurance company and their use will not affect out future insurance costs, my wife and I see no reason to not sic em, and sic em good.
So, for the first time in my life, I can legitimately say "I'm sorry, you'll have to talk to my lawyer about that."
It's all quite exciting. And time consuming. And annoying

Release the hounds!
Even without the other guy being a lying whatsit, the lawyers will help get the other company to pay the correct amount.
E.g. After her accident, the other insurance company offered my wife all her medical costs plus nearly 1 million in compensation. As soon as the lawyers stepped in, they upped their offer by 50%. In the end, the final total was quite significantly more. Insurance companies are a bunch of thieving conmen it would seem.
My god yes! Liars the lot of the .

Sorry to hear that Mij as far as i know the other guy has no legal leverage, IMHO.
Anyway because of the heat and humidity my panting has gone down to a trickle.
Had a huge amount of Space Marines gathering dust on the shelf's, so i started to paint those.

Last night I worked on my Defiler and this morning I was able to work on Daemon Prince a bit. Unfortunately tonight we are staying at my in-laws' place so there won't be any painting tonight.

Chugged away at a couple bases of line infantry - base coats (brown for dirt, gray for trousers, red for coats) are down, so now it's basically rifles, equipment belts and skin and they're done. Looks like it'll be nice weather in the morning for some priming too.

I got these guys varnished yesterday:

A set of 7 Ikko-Ikki. You may note that they are mounted on round skirmishy bases and note large square Hail Caesar style bases....

Worked on the Defiler again tonight. The model is so much bigger than the rhino or Daemon Prince!

I had been going to bed late (4-5am) for the last few weeks since school was out, but now that classes have started up again I'm trying to wake up at a reasonable hour. I managed to get up at 9am today - and then promptly went back to sleep until 11 (when some Jehova's witnesses came knocking). After that, I did homework and studied for a few hours. Finally, I assembled the 3rd of my 4 leman russes.
You can't spell slaughter without laughter.

I worked on my Defiler a bit while watching TV with the wife. It is really slow going. I should go to bed because I am waking up at 4am to watch the final of the World Cup!

Got the base coats down on my final (for the moment) DZC formation. Really shouldn't take more than a half a day or so to finish them up. Then I'll get to work on some robots for my Epic titan legions, then I dunno! Might actually paint up a unit or two of ancients.
