I received shipment of some PHR stuff for Dropzone Commander that I don't really need but oh well. I'll be able to do demos between Scourge and them now, I tell myself.

Only a couple weeks till Epicstravaganza, so I have some hills and buildings and trees to paint up! Plus today or tomorrow I guess I'll head up to Joshin and see if I can find some magnets.

@MIJ- In spite of my hatred for all things elfy, I do like Aspect warrior sculpts (though the old ones are better than the new IMO) and I approve of your swooshy capes, sir. Are you using Procreate?

Congrats and awesome! Seeing all those samurai models makes me want to buy a couple of perry figures but I must resist until the French are out of the way.

Well, today was interesting. Granted, I was at work all day, but once I was home I was able to spend a terribly British evening relaxing in front of the telly. For lo, I have finally sorted out a VPN. Well, not a VPN, actually. It's a kinda clever thing which diddies about with your DNS server address to make the BBC iPlayer or what have you think you're in the UK. Doesn't have the security features of a VPN, though.* Anyway, I was able to watch BBC stuff very happily on my PS3. I'm using the free trial just now, but if things continue as they are I'll pay em their 5USD a month with a happy heart and a big smile. And, as a pleasant side effect, suddenly watching Doctor Who becomes legal, AND I can watch it the day after it's on telly in the UK. None o that overpriced, week-late iStore malarkey.

To celebrate, I had some specially imported (by me) Wensleydale, Jacobs cream crackers and proper scottish oatcakes. And a beer (a moretti, actually, but hey ho, last time I was in scotland that's what I was drinking anyway. For some reason my mum and dad's fridge is full of it.)

Then I decanted the last of my paints into vallejo pots. Well, I say "last". It's the last for now, anyway. I've run out of empty vallejos. Need to buy more...

*For those who might care, it's called UnoTelly, and works for the US and lots of other countries, too. At the mo I've just tried the UK ones, cos that's what my PS3 has on it, but I suspect with a certain amount of diddling about you could be all over netflix and whatnot, too. You can get it for the ipad and PC and so on, too. 5 bucks for...I think up to 5 devices. Anyway. I'm happy with it, and I'm pretty fussy when it comes to paying for services. :)

How did you import Wensleydale and how much did it cost?

Love Moretti.

Cheers for letting us know about Unotelly.
I was using MediaHint ( which is ace btw) but only runs on PCs and Macs. Unotelly works on EVERYTHING! Big bloody advantage.

Although I should have been doing other things, hobby-wise, I put together and magnetized up a couple of PHR walkers and their dropship. I also made an amateur error with polarity and will have some extra fiddlyness in play, but I guess that's just par for the course with magnets.

One of the cool things about the DZC range, like you saw with the Scourge, is that all the vehicles physically fit in their dropships - and the PHR even have a handy socket arrangement which just about perfectly fits a 2.5mm diameter magnet. Some of the units will take a bit of messing with to fit (since he didn't leave space for the flight stand between bigger transported units in some cases) but that's a relatively small deal compared to the coolness of actually transporting your units in physically.

Have to do a bit of sanding along the front edge of the dropship, I see...
