Phwoar, pikey! Colour me impressed. That's a thing of beauty and no mistake. Not just a tip o the hat, but a wee twirly flourish at the end, too. Bravo sir, bravo! *twirly hat tip*

Re: What did you do today.
Very nice! Impressive as always.
I pretty much finished up the terrain I'll need for the Sunday event - I may stick a few more trees together, but I've really only got foliage for maybe half a dozen or so and don't feel like going down to the hobby store to get more.
Waku waku! Time to double-check army lists and make sure everything's nice and purty.

@ J-Z: I like the IG serf models.
@ MtP: Wow, man. It looks wonderful. That's a real accomplishment.
@ ToD: Ganbatte!
Today my wife and I returned from Hokkaido. We spent 5 days, 4 nights in Asahikawa and mostly about Furano. It was cool and autumn is in full swing there. The countryside was gorgeous and perfect for bicycle riding. We also ate fantastically. We didn't strike out once for great food and it was ridiculous where we found some incredible cafes and eateries in the middle of the countryside.
Anyway, I did some bases on few models tonight. I hope to maybe add some more paint on a few other models.

@MtP - That is an awesome looking board mate. I'm jealous!
Today I got the last of the painting done on my current batch of Zulu warriors. Tomorrow I start basing them up.

Re: What did you do today.
Did the brass and skin on Morty. Hopefully tomorrow should see the armour plates done, and after that it's just picking out all the wee green necrotite bits. And basing, but that should be pretty basic.

I must say, I'm quite enjoying the warmachine minis just now. They're kinda cartoony, and that lends itself to a somewhat more "ah, whatever" style of painting (for me, at least.) I did notice, however, that I have way more Cryx than I thought I did...

Love that metal.
(I have to say, though, it kind of shows how odd miniatures design can be. Here we have a woman with metal arms and a thousand spider legs and a torso apparently made of maggots, and basically the only exposed flesh on her is her boobs.)

I was thinking the same thing the whole time I was painting it. I spose you could paint em metal and just call it all-enclosing armour, but I wanted the dark/pale contrast. The Other Dave wrote:

It is for the allies so they can ignore the horror as long as they focus on the boobsme_in_japan wrote:I was thinking the same thing the whole time I was painting it. I spose you could paint em metal and just call it all-enclosing armour, but I wanted the dark/pale contrast. The Other Dave wrote:
