What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
It was purely awesome to play against it. It was even an honor to have it blow up three of my terminators. Particularly the choice of colors and feathering work on the wings were magnificent.
Tonight I worked on my Dropzone Commander models. I assembled some more tanks. I also worked on trying to figure out a way to magnetize it all.

Great stuff Mike. As Auxryn said the underside of the wings are ace. Where did that inspiration come from or was that just kiwi ingenuity and creativity at its best - I mean we did invent the first airplane after all
Richard William Pearse (3 December 1877 – 29 July 1953) was a New Zealand farmer and inventor who performed pioneering experiments in aviation. It is claimed Pearse flew and landed a powered heavier-than-air machine on 31 March 1903, some nine months before the Wright brothers flew their aircraft.

I managed a few hours painting today. I did some bows and arrows on some Ashigaru and got my battalion of Napoleonic British infantry done and glued down to their bases. If I have time this evening, I will glue some sand down so that I can get the bases painted up on Wednesday/Thursday.

Re: What did you do today.
This morning I threw caution and part of my self-imposed goal for the year to the wind and assembled and magnetized the stuff I'll need to bulk out my PHR force for Dropzone out to 1000 points. Middle-earth will have to wait!
Feel free to call me Dave!

Sculpted some fingers and they are not utterly malformed! We'll see how the thumb turns out tonight. Got the face started on another fig. Just roughed out down to the eyeballs.

Well those last two weeks of a sniffly nose finally revealed itself to be a sly cold that was waiting for my immune system to drop its guard. Damn you sneaky virus
@MiJ - The Strain tv show is pretty cool, thanks for the recommend.
Project wise, the 6th Para Armoured Recon is on the drawing board, consisting of 3 Bren carriers and 5 man teams, a Dingo and a couple of Cromwells.
Naghammer prep is not underway yet as I haven't decided which plot character will inspire me the most.
I talked to some of the Japanese 40k gamers at the recent Zengo a bit and urged them to come along this year. Hope I made a good impression.

@Kojibear, hope you don't have what I had!
A slow week workwise, which is good as I try to sort out my recovery. Almost back to normal now (thank you sincerely fellow forum dwellers for the get well soon sentiments). The thought of eating certain foods still makes me think twice, but I'm much improved now.
Rereading a bit of Dredd (the recent Day of Chaos arc) and thought a fair bit about tabletop terrain that would suit a typical Mega City One street (or rooftop). To be honest what's on the market is often close but never quite exactly what I want. I think I need to decide on precisely what I would like to see, and consider making my own bits, if I'm brave enough.
