The past few days I've been kind of slow about hobby stuff. There's the cold, work and general laziness, but there's also the fact my American grandmother passed away over the weekend. My wife and I were to visit her this coming February. I was looking forward to hearing her stories. (She was a consummate story-teller and fantastic store of stories.) With her in my thoughts part of me isn't quite fully interested in hobby stuff, at least for more than a short period. We're really going to miss her.

.
My condolences. That's probably the worse thing about the expat life. Not being there to say goodbye.
And I'll put up smaller pics next time  I didn't expect the pics to be that big. I'm an idiot with computers.

This morning I started painting some bases on some Samurai and Ashigaru. Hopefully I can get them finished and flocked this evening.

@Job - My condolences on your loss.

As I head back to Oz tomorrow for a "proper" Xmas (i.e. blisteringly hot weather, BBQ, beer & cricket) I just wanted to wish all my fellow NagHam's the joys of the season and I look forward to more gaming with you all in 2015!

Thanks guys.

@ Y-S: have a good Christmas down under.

Tonight I spent a bit of time on the Panther, the warlord minis, and a few Berzerkers buried in my collection.

@Job, sorry for your recent loss, I'd also like to offer my condolences.

Today was my final, final workday before starting the new job. Rather anti-climactic as I had worked in that branch only for a few weeks, and then only a few days a week, so no big scenes or send-offs. This week I also disentangled myself from the other part-time gigs.
Phew. Feels quite liberating.
Ordered some Duplo for the boy, too. He can't do much with it at the moment, but it's Xmas and in a few months he'll be up to it I imagine. Besides, Daddy wants to have a go with it... Tonight I'll prepare bits and pieces I need to take to Zengo.

Job: Condolences.

Spevna: Didn't know you were into Lady-boys :P

Been making more shoulder badges for my Guardians of the covenant chapter (Dark Vengeance Space marines)
But mostly been busy painting the tracks on my "All is quiet on the Martian front" tank batch.
And some work on the modified backpack of my new Hello Kitty Marine.
End went through some boxed stuff in the weekend and found a load of unpainted Horde and warmachine figures and i totally forgot that i had the Dark Heresy RPG book :o
