@Konrad, yeah, I am itching to get my Judges on the go again. Because I was making up the points (I should say credits of course) to match the other teams, I could use the Med Judge as a merc (he's not normally in the force list) and at the end of the game the Judge's permanent secondment rule meant I could keep him by paying double his cred cost. Nice!
I have enough for another recruit..thinking of a riot judge with a shield to have some melee fun.

When I got home, a neat little package from Nottingham was waiting for me. No, not a 1000 dollar price tagged 1-click collection of 3 toddler sized monsters or something from GDub, but a marvellous treasure trove of War of the Roses goodies from the Perry twins:- 3 boxes of infantry, 2 artillery, mounted and unmounted Yorkist command for the early years of the wars. Should keep me busy this year. They look fantastic too, very nice sculpts indeed.

Today I did more work on the increasingly-not-that-bothered-about-being-secret project. I suspect my interest in keeping it under wraps will dissolve soon, so expect picture updates at some point in the foreseeable...

In other news, I discovered (whilst aimlessly browsing) that there is a song called "The Unicorn Invasion of Dundee". No, really. That's a real song that actually exists. Of course, having learned of the existence of such a piece, I felt compelled to give it a listen. The jury is still out on whether I think it's the stupidest thing I've ever heard, or the most awesome. Possibly both. Anyhoo, here's a linky. Be warned: it is exactly as daft as the title suggests it could be...

@Lovejoy- man I want a Med-Judge. I'm getting tired of having to do the ," Damn it, he was just a rookie." line every game.
@MIJ- I am trying to imagine what sort of chain of consciousness google key word search led you to "The Unicorn Invasion of Dundee"....and have failed....
Found that a clay shaper cup-chisel just works wonders on butt-cheeks. They glisten they are so smooth. And it's really handy for sculpting too.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Finished my warstriders earlier today.

Came out sloppier than I wanted, but I'm satisfied.

Now I just need to do the infantry and I'll have a nice, functional, fully painted army. Of course, I'll just buy more stuff immediately. The cycle shall continue.

Those are some nice troops. I'll look forward to seeing them at Joshin.

I suspect painting them will be a bit time consuming - much like orks they have a lot of finely detailed bits and bobs, and lots of cloth and skin for shading and highlighting.
