I quite enjoyed The Tudors. Wouldn't say it was particularly accurate by any stretch, but I certainly captured the spirit of the times i reckon.Lovejoy wrote:@Jr, allow me to wish you a Happy Birthday, too..
Went to Sakae with the family for (what was mostly window) shopping, quite pleasant mooching around town.
Later, watched the first 3 episodes of Wolf Hall (period drama from BBC based on book of same name). I'd heard high praise and wasn't disappointed. Tudor machinations, but not, thankfully, like The Tudors tv show. Nicely understated, great actors and acting.
Later, assembled Necrons for a 750 pt list I hope I can bring to next Joshin. The warriors are a bit irritating to put together so far. Thankfully the previous owner (Jus) had already made a start on 20 warriors and a ghost ark, so I'm well on the way. 10 more warriors and 8 immortals should do it.
Don't have the new codex yet though, ho ho!
Wolf Hall is pretty good though, really easy to imagine it being just like that.
