I had a shit day worrying about the never ending quandary of student numbers. I've decided that rather than worry about it I just need to accept that students numbers like money are always going to come and go. No matter how interesting and engaging I make the lessons I really have no control over their budget.
So, to avoid further stress and waste of energy, I'm going to get some painting in to help me chill out.

On a roll of a 6 then, will it be

1: ECW
2: The Balrog
3: Wood Elves
4: Space Marine Centurian
5: Foundry Heroes of the Argo
or
6: A Call of Cthulhu cultist.

A 2! The Balrog! A Balrog is cominnnng.
Fly you fools.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

@Spev and MiJ, nice work as usual! The citi-def look very Doctor Who henchman style, I like them. The lady looks great, I like the way you've made the detail on the scaly boots work.
Had a couple of hours to spare myself as well, so rapidly painted my hasslefree sniper in the same colour scheme as my other citi-def. He's alright, might need some tweaking tomorrow. Just need a decent block name for the force now.

I reacquainted myself with the unpleasant business that is putting waterslide transfers on space marine shoulderpads. *shakes fist*

Last night I got half an hour in on my totally-not-secret project. I nearly have my first force done, just a wash, a drybrush and some flock left to do.

A grim-faced captain of the Scythes of the Emprah got his finishing touches this morning:

@Spevna- Love the Citi- Def. So old-school sci-fi. Your big, bright painting style makes everything look simple and comic-bookish, in a good way.
@MIJ- Those are boots to die for! I wonder how many did die....
@TOD- grimgrimgrimgrim....grim........grim.....we are grim....praise the Emperor...grim.....
I dry-brushed a bit on a Trakk yesterday. Maybe paint the control panel today.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

I finished my Bird Eater anti-air walkers today.

Warspire and some medium gates are up next.

@ToD - Nice work on the marine captain. Very clean work and and the highlights really bring out the detail.

Also I should say, Spevna, that those dudes are typically awesome-looking, but I can't stop seeing them as having Little Lord Fauntleroy haircuts peeking out from under their helmets. :D
