@Lovejoy - Good to that you're settling in. Hopefully your collection made it in one piece. I'm still getting used to the idea of calling my place 'home', I was in my last place for quite a while and the same area of Nagoya for over 10 years. A decent hobby space does help the transition though.

I bought a bunch of the old Pirates of the Spanish Main collectible ships. Shipping them from the US was more than twice the price of the booster packs.

After a major vacation I got painting again and have nearly finished my orky big guns

These are mostly Kromlech models, with the single GW Mek Gun. I should probably paint up their crew as well.

@Primarch - a new secret project? I still haven't seen a demo game of your last secret project!

Those new Big Gunz are the saving grace of the new Codex. Artillery rocks.

Went to the Jigg Kansai meeting and played some Starwars Armada and killed me some rebels.

What did you think of Armada?

Liked it very similar to BFG (my tactics worked ) The only thing is getting used to the shoot first move later mechanic. And the planning ahead of the turn commands.

Hiss, hiss, waaagh! The Greensteelaz are done. A fun little side project. The Orks are Boar Boyz with various Tyranid arms and things. The one with the matching set of claws came of some mystery sprue with a bunch of wizards and dragnon-y things on it. The "Technoz" are old FB archers, with assorted Tyranid bits and odds and ends from the bitz box. Not real happy with the last one, but 3 out of 4 is not bad in the end.

@Konrad: Love the Greensteelaz. The tyranid limbs are surprisingly orky.

I'm still busy with school and my job search, but I've started easing back into my IG project. A month or two ago I finally got around to poking holes in my foam containers and storing the army properly. Today, I repaired some pieces that had been jostled off the vehicles before I stored them. I then magnetized some special weapons troopers, and I plan to spend the rest of the day assembling more troops.

I'm debating whether or not to get some of the Not-Sisters-Of-Battle models from the new Raging Heroes kickstarter. I probably will, but only enough for an allied detachment to support the IG troopers.

I drank another delicious beer at 23 Craft Beers. delicious brown ale that went well with the pickeled eggs. but gosh I need to drink more and work less. I already forgot the name of the beer.

I did absolutely nothing on the hobby front.
