Re: What did you do today.
Today I didn't play computer games at all, although I did watch some daredevil (still very good). I also actually did proper Hobby Stuff - I prepped my deathjack for an undercoat (er mostly this consisted of prising apart a mostly already constructed model and scraping the dried up superglue out of the crevasses. But hey - Hobby was had.) Tomorrow: basecoat and planning. I'm going to attempt something I've never done before: freehand.

@mikbal
Yeah it was the sturmtiger, checked it out on amazon, too expensive for my taste maybe i run into a cheap version when i am at Mandarake or Hard off.
Not much hobby stuff, Used the lightning claws for the termies i bought at N.Hammer, and working on a few new buddhist marines with spellcrow space knight chests and the legs from the Death company i bought of of Primarch. Also working on the Warzone jet bikes Miguel donated to me, still not ready for painting, the resin parts missaligned, lots of excess resin, loss of detail and a zillion other problems.
And working on my Battlefleet Gothic endevour

Buggrit. It annoys me how the iphone re-loads this page every time I leave it to copy the addy of my pics. I had a nice wee schpiel written earlier. Ach well...
This evening I did some work on the deathjack. It's all looking a bit khaki just now, but ultimately I intend it to look like the armour plate in the last pic.

Games Workshop are releasing a Dark Future compute game, just in time to cash in on the popularity of Mad Max without the need for a pesky licensing agreement

I was never a huge Mad Max fan, but I did like Dark Future. I'll have to keep an eye on that one.Spevna wrote:Games Workshop are releasing a Dark Future compute game, just in time to cash in on the popularity of Mad Max without the need for a pesky licensing agreement

Dark Future! A friend had it, came out at the time I was first bowing out of gaming as a teen. Never got the chance to actually play..At least I'll get to try the computer incarnation. Anyone remember GWs Battlecars, and the Battlebikes expansion? Sort of car wars lite for Fighting Fantasy kiddy winks, I loved it.
I hear the Jack Yeovil books have never been beaten in terms of black library output. I was impressed by the 50 pages of Drachenfels I got through, but didn't persevere. As Kim Newman (real name) he wrote Life's Lottery, which is excellent, a growed up choose your own adventure novel with adult themes.
Hobby wise, I've been dry brushing some rocky terrain to go with my newly arrived cigar box mat. Mat size ahen packed is tiny, easily less than a battalion box. Pics possibly when I get home later, if anyone wants to see it.

More jack this evening. Base shading, so not too exciting.
