BTW sorry for the late input. Was knocked down flat by a nasty summer cold. Latched on to me like a leech and we have been fighting all week. Think I've got him on the run now though. (Seriously though, first time I had a fever near 40 degrees)

I think I can play HoR All Day. I've written up rosters for Beast-Kin and Malakarian Defenders, so far. I think I'll also prepare a couple others so I can try out different warbands.

Thanks to everyone who came along today and tried out HoR. It seemed like everyone had fun playing and I think there was a good range of warbands on the field to offer plenty of feedback on the game. It seemed like most people had something to add or tweak, so as and when you have time, please feel free to post your suggestions over in the appropriate threads in the Hunters section.

HoR was definitely good fun! A nice chance to get my goblins out and bash heads.

Thanks to Auxryn for the game of ASC - I really think the tweaks have pretty much balanced the 300-point game at least, although I worry that it might be a bit tough for the Marines at 600 points, especially if I'm reading the rules right that you have to either clear the board of Tyranids or actually escape off the board after destroying the objective to end the battle. Perhaps charging 3 extra actions to spawn in reinforcements rather than 2... (And certainly saying no Tyranid spawning after the objective's destroyed as the hive mind seals off the damaged part of the ship or what have you.) But that's something to figure when we actually start playing larger games, of course.

Good games all. HoR is looking like it could shape up quite nicely. Ought to start it up campaign style and see how that works out.

I really enjoyed both HoR and ASC. We'll need to play a bigger game sometime when we can devote the whole day to it.

I'll look forward to playing an HoR campaign once the scenarios are a little more ironed out and I pin down what faction I want to play.
