Pretty good about it, as it happens. :) Well, myself and the people I actually play. I need to paint more elves, though.

I've not managed much hobby-related recently, other than assembling a Shaltari Jaguar warstrider tonight, but I hope to rectify that over the next couple of days.

Nice Daughters, well done.

Last night my PC shut down on it's own and won't start up again, so I am thinking the power supply unit is shot. I'll have to take it to the store in Osu to get it fixed at some point. On the plus side I was able to paint without too much distraction today and got some work done on my BA force for next month's event, some undead for HoR and some WotR era archers.

Did some work on a couple chaos marines, since I have the models kicking around and wanted, as I say, to paint something with actual colors on.

@prim - nooooo! That happened to me once. Worse, actually. Mine started, but after a couple of seconds of startup BIOS stuff it just went to a black screen with "no hard drive detected" written in BIOS-y text.

And that was the end of that :(

I hope you get yours sorted, and your tale of PC woe has a happier ending than mine :)

ps. i have another cold now. That's 2 simultaneously. Cold 1 is pipe-cloggingly thick phlegmy snot being coughed up (albeit less than it was), currently entering week 6, cold 2 is sore-throat runny-nose usual-cold. individually theyd be annoying. Together, though, they become so much more than the sum of their parts...

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...

Well, good news and bad on the PC front.
It is fixable, but I'm going to be stuck using my keitai for about a week or so. On the positive side, the shop are fixing it for free and delivering it to my house, also for free, as I took out insurance when I bought it.
Additionally, I am having lunch at the Tacos place in Osu. Yay! Then off to Joshin to see if they have any Tamiya stuff I don't already have on my shelves yet.
Looking at this in a positive light, I have less to distract me from painting and hobby stuff for the next few days.

Haven't done a lick of painting for a while..each weekend the in-laws have been descending, which makes it hard (My wife's sister is marrying a guy from Nagoya, so it makes sense for them to stay over and sort out wedding arrangements and house buying, but hobbying has been a casualty!)

But! We were able to leave our boy with the mother-in-law and see Mad Max, which is a major plus. Wife would have preferred to see the latest pixar...prior to her witnessing this incredible spectacle, that is, as she enjoyed it too. Can't really add much to the general thumbs up response on the forums, probably haven't been this entertained in a cinema since Return of the King. Its craziness won her even her (with her Disneyesque tastes) over, and she now wants to see the originals. This movie is just all-out, balls-to-the-wall nuts, in the best sense.

Semi-secret Oldhammer project will be next (target Jan 2016), and will begin work on some WOTR Perrys finally. Also bought some blue polystyrene overong weekend. Going to make some simple modular terrain to pimp up my mines of moria set. Off to the UK in a week or so though, doubt much will be done until after my return.

@ Lovejoy: that is cool your wife could enjoy the flick. I didn't even entertain the idea my wife would like it. Now you should remember to go buy a can of silver spray paint.

Tonight I am enjoying a glass of Epic Imperisl IPA. Wonderful. Bitter, nicely hoppy , easy to drink and suited for summer. Not suited for riding your bike home. I'll be walking the bike.

Hobbywise, nothing; but I have Le Grande Armee in Dresden threatening both Berlin and Vienna, but the Austians threaten to recapture Prague and the Russians are in the Alps.

Finished a coupla more Chaos Marines:

Image

(Namely the horned dude and the lightning claw guy.) I may even bash some rules together for them since hey, I've got the models! (And, as I've said, they're super nice models to boot.)

Sort of a quick and dirty paint job - I'd spend more time on the daemon weapon and try and make the lightning claw guy's shoulder details pop a bit more if I wanted to spend a bit more time on the models - but I don't, so.

May do some 6mm Brits next cause they have red on them and I still want to do some stuff with color before going back to green and gray fatigues.
