Mostly finished the Praetorians now.

I tried using greenstuff to hide the connection between the figures and the base with incomplete success, I think I will double down on that strategy next time.

Dropzone armies seem to paint up very fast and easy. The whole army is finished before I can really master the paint scheme.

Been sneaking out to the apartment stair early mornings before it gets hot and doing a bit of painting. Here's the last week's result. Not entirely pleased with the sculpting, the face especially, but still have to give it a "jobs a good 'un."

You might want to wait until no one is looking, she's (mostly) nekkid. It's hot on Gorkamorka, desert you know.

Today I glued some sand down to a whole lot of bases, painted some Reaper minis, some WotR Men-at-Arms amd some WW2 British troops. Plus, I finished painting an objective marker for the Bolt Action event next Saturday. Just need to do the base and it's ready to go.
Tomorrow I have a job interview for Mitsubishi. I'll still be working through my current company, but I'll be at Mitsubishi full time, with my own office, my own curriculum and so forth.

@ Konrad: nice lady. Charlize Theron inspired?

Things are settling down a bit after the move. So I broke out the brush and started painting a French Colonel.

I tried experimenting with flocking on bases today.

Better than leaving them naked I guess. I think I'll try a brown wash over the flocking to bring it all together. In the future I may be more conservative with the shrubs.

Those tiny, tiny men look much better. The green gives them a nice splash of colour.

I put flock on the bases of my Dropzone infantry for much the same reason - of course, it doesn't help that my color scheme for my Immortals are grey, and grey on grey would be pretty dang boring. Technically, since we play on city boards, it doesn't quite "fit," but visuals trump reality when it comes to tiny little army men.

This evening I finished the objective marker I was working on for the Bolt Action event. After that I finished up the bases on some Reaper minis, assembled some more WotR minis and painted some odds and ends in the neverending war of attrition that is my 'to do' pile.

Today I ate an irn-bru flavoured ice cream cone. 37 years old and I had never done that before. My life goals are one step further towards their completion :)
