Did some priming, and chucked a bio-titan I had kicking around into the simple green. I'm going to paint a little bit of epic Eldar - turns out I only need a couple more falcons (and I have a bunch of plastic ones from a cheapo eBay sale a while back) to field a Yme-Loc armored list, so why not?

Ps @konrad - this came up in my facebook feed today. Nice wee blog post about how to sculpt ladies that aren't all "heyulp heyulp please save me mr hero man". Useful for diggachicks, p'raps?

Thanks for the link. The sculpting on the armor was the most impressive bit I thought. So smooth, so symmetrical! The straps and buckles are all the same size, nice! Part of the reason, I am doing mostly nekkid with beat-up scrap metal bits and rags for boots and loincloths is I can't do that yet. :D

I got a bit of work done last night. Cobbled together a spear, some trousers, and got Stuntie ready for his big, big gun!

Played Fallout 4 - inspired to do some more work on my TNT gangs and terrain, but not enough to stop playing Fallout 4.

Shaking my fist at 20-year-old paint jobs. 2 days in the simple green and I could still only scrub off about a third of the paint. Got some good work done on my falcons, though.

Need some help with somebody with a GW Basilisk. What's the length of the gun?

I can't be bothered digging my Basilisk out to measure it, but I think it extends 1-2 cm beyond the front of the hull when in a horizontal position. It's probably not going to make much difference if you have a slightly longer or shorter barrel. Those things have a long enough range. :D

Today I put together some Saxons, assembled a couple of quick terrain pieces for This Is Not A Test and started work on some terrain for NagoyaHammer next year. If I can do what I want to, I should be able to assemble a full table of terrain easily and cheaply. I'm just waiting for the glue to set on my test pieces before I decide if it's viable or not.

Just knocked out 11 Dredd Cabalists in 3 hours (two demonic pacts, a high priest hero and 7 bullet catcher cultist saps to form an unholy congragation). I haven't painted in a sustained way for weeks, and they look, well, all right, considering. Not great, but not crap. They're very hit and miss apparently game wise, but chucklesome, which is the draw.
I think, given the lack of time these days, that I'll just have to be content with this fast and loose style of painting. They can always be touched up later. The main thing is maintaining contact with the brushes and enjoying it.
Interested recently in boardgames I can solo, a dungeon crawler would be nice. Any thoughts appreciated.
Quite like the look of Mice and Mystics, but I am not ten years old.
It would be great for a dad to play with his kids though.

@Miguel- 15cm in total. Boom! Is that the Reaper kit? Tamiya makes a plastic kit, but that looks like resin.

I wish it was the Reaper kit but that one is more than a ayear away. It's a Russian B-4 203mm Howitzer made by Trumpeteer that the Reaper sculptor chose as the base for his model. As usual the gun is a little bit small compared to those made by GW but nobody can acuse them of knowing what size a real gun should be.

If I like the finished model I will hunt more for Nagoyahammer so be ready to be on the receiving end of 3 or 4 or 5 or... how many will I be able to fit in 750pts?????
