We've been chatting about this a bit in the "what did you do today" thread, yeah. :D "Pretty but prohibitively expensive, but what the heck I'll probably pick up some hybrids on eBay for my Advanced Space Crusade set" is my feeling.

I'm more shocked at the reappearance of Jus than the rerelease of the stealer cult. :D

Sup Jus! Nice re entry. That looks really tempting, some lovely models of those hybrids. Reminds me of the space hulk expansion packs deathwing and genestealer back in the day. Genestealer was grosly unbalanced for the marines with the stealers getting all sorts of weird and wonderful tech.
I hope they do some dlc for the space hulk game on steam which I love.
It's times like this a wish i didn't have a back log of unpainteds and an unpainted Space hulk set already.
Nice product, I reckon that will be good to own and paint.
Hope alls well mate.

Oh...what happens to the rest of the forum, now that that monster thread has taken over? Haha

Does no one worship at the altar of 40k anymore? Seems everyone's gone pentecostal with other...stuff. (Which is OK!)
I might be interested in getting it but if there's no one to play it with, seems a bit moot.

Age of sigmar anyone? ( Laugh out loud)

@tod: sorry i couldn't make it to your event with the small miniatures( epicstravagenza) i only noticed the party for it..you know after it happened. Whens the next one?
@ash: space hulk is great. There's a fps coming out this year called death wing. Can't wait!

40K is still being played at Joshin most months. It's not as popular as it once was, but it does get played.* Plus with NagoyaHammer 2016 coming up, a few people are trying to get more games in with their NH army. Check the monthly Joshin threads.

*Not by me personally, I haven't touched it since last May.

Well a bunch of us still worship at that alter. I still love the fluff and miniatures despite the rules being so messy these days. But hey, if it means we can have variety like these Genestealers I guess I can try to live with it. Anyway, if you play the game just to put models on the table and some dice throwing it isn't too bad.

I'm personally finding it super-difficult to not purchase what I'm seeing, but I have to figure I'd I can fit it in between my Napoleonics and Mechanicus army.

I know there's one other guy out there who wants to play AoS, so don't give up on it yet.

Good to here you're still kickin somewhere. Hope to hear more from you.

I'm so tempted. 23,000 en is a good deal for those models. The thing is I never played Dreadfleet even once because apparently it was a broken game.
We had a few sessions of shipbuilding down in Tsu until Satoru and I decided this was way too much like an ojisans model boat club. The rather lovely cloth board for that game is now a throw for my armchair

Still tempted though, might see if I can finish what I have. I've done one mini this year. Still it would be a challenge to sit down and see if I could paint the whole set before the years out.

Whoa! Jus! Can we be sure it's Jus or is he being controlled by the Hive Mind. "Gosh, this new stealer vs marine box looks keen. You should buy it, like everyone else. Once you surrender to the will of the new box set you will be complete....." Sadly, they made this about 10 years too late for me to buy it. As much fun as a Hybrid Necromunda/Inquisimunda/Kill Team would be, too many other projects I will never finish. 40K has become a once a year event for me. The other guys are starting to show their age and are playing stuff like Flames of War and I even heard talk of Ancients. I'm showing mine by playing Gorkamorka and any other 20 year old GW game I can any chance I get.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....
