Re: October in Flames
Mike: I've got a complete company of British Parras. Unpainted but I may have time before the event. I'm really keen to get going on this game.
Maybe not possible this time but I would love to stage Pegasus Bridge. I have the D Day minus 1 sourcebook. It has rules for glider and parra landing battles. Let me know if you are interested on building this board for another time.

Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

I would love to join you guys. My Americans are still back in the states (the liberty ship still isn't embarking), so I've only got some German big cats.

Well, I got my army glued together. Looks cool, but scary to paint something that small.

Re: October in Flames
@Ash: Is that the Para company box? Or the basic platoons plus support units? How many points is that?
BTW I would be very keen to take Pegasus bridge off your hands at some stage
Is there a scenario for it in the 'D-Day -1 Book? What sort of German forces were involved?

@Job: How many points of big cats have you got? Painted or otherwise?
If you want to borrow some models I should be able to scrounge up some support for them. What sort of support units were you thinking of? I have some Wespes, Nebelwefers, motorized scouts and some Infantry you could borrow.

Unfortunately, unpainted, so they look like hairless cats unless one uses some imagination.
And counting the points it jumps fast because they are, of course, Mark V and VI tanks. Four Panthers 750 plus two Tigers 430 making a total of 1180 points. The list I've planned out will in the future incorporate armored recce, armored panzerwerfer and gebirgsjager, but all of that I still don't own and
I could easily abandon a platoon to make the tanks support elements to units you might lend, Mike?
Also, it is possible I could put a touch of paint on them from now till then, but I'd like to do this company the right way for once and work on painting them right.

Re: October in Flames
@Job: We will definitely be able to work something out mate. Don't worry about getting things painted too much. We are mostly still beginners here so there will be more than a few unpainted minis on the day.
BTW what size game was the 'Standard' for you and your group back home? 1500pts? 1750?
