My bank was very helpful though and got right back to me the next morning with, "It's been ordered but due to international shipping we can't say when it will arrive." That being said, I'm in for a Warband, if someone else can put up the cash. I will pledge my soul as collateral and a pound of flesh as interest.

I'm sure the card will arrive in time mate. There's still 28 days to go. Plenty of time.

@Konrad and the disciples: I'd be willing to be the guy who pledges, but I'll need the cash (or Paypal) ASAP once the KS is finished. Also, do people want metal or resin? I'm all about the resin, but I appreciate there may be differing opinions on that front. As Konrad will be the biggest backer, I guess it's his call.

assuming it's me paying, then yeah, sure. Konrad may yet get his credit card, in which case you can still give me the money and I'll run off down the pub with it

Ah. My bad. I thought the regular pledges were running out. I saw the "All gone"s and thought time was running out. Those were the early bird deals. I get how this Kickstarter thing works now. Anyhow, I'll be getting a Warband and a couple add ons. Anyone in the local area want to jump in with an add on or two and pitch in a couple en for shipping pm me.

@ K's Disciples: I'd like to join to get hold of a Minotaur. I'd like one to join Da Herd. If it doesn't fit, I understand.

Coming back from Tokyo now. Ready to see and hold my daughter, and to paint something.

Have been a little distracted this week with a cold and some video games, but I'm making steady progress on the next squad of IG troops. If I run them as veterans and get a few chimeras painted up, I should finally be able to field a (small) fully painted army.

(The Emperor's Champion and Sergeant Centurius have been painted for a decade or more now :) Centurius celebrated his twentieth birthday earlier this month, in fact!

And the old Captain Cortez miniature, and some dead guys. I might make a wee diorama with these and the anniversary model, on a big oval base.

And the 2012 Games Day Blood Angels Captain:

and then I got a little silly ...

Wow! I like that honking great standard! Especially the detail on the crimson fist. Happy birthday Astartes, very cool.
