Looks like I'll be free in the morning as well. I'd like to play Malifaux, but Frostgrave, Advanced Space Crusade, or Hunters of Ruin all sound fun too.

@Yellowstreak

Sorry mate, just noticed your reply about the AM game. How many points? I'll be bringing 1000 for the afternoon against MtP, how does that suit you?

Let me try and organize this:

Morning Games:
Komura and Mike the Pike - Bolt Action
Mikball and Yellowstreak - Bolt Action
The Other Dave and Lovejoy - Advanced Space Crusade
Japanese guys - Frostgrave, presumably
Primarch - Pulling weeds
Underdweller - ?
Mushroom Kid - ?
Auxryn -?

Afternoon Games:
Primarch and Underdweller - Malifaux
Mikball and Mike the Pike - Bolt Action
Yellowstreak, Lovejoy, and the Japanese guys - more Frostgrave!
Komura - needs to go home
The Other Dave - ?
Mushroom Kid -?
Auxryn - ?

I apologize for any mistakes.

@Mushroom Kid - Looks like we're both at loose ends. Perhaps Hunters of Ruin is in order?

I'm probably going to bring along the Space Hulk card game too if anyone wants to fool around with that in the afternoon. Supports up to 4 players!
Feel free to call me Dave!

Enjoyed a good Advanced Space Crusade session today with ToD. The meat of it was a 2 and a half hour game where I tried out the marine contingent, replete with those shiny new terminators of his... a fair bit of knife edge tension and a few changes in fortunes, the likely outcome wasn't clear until the last couple of turns. Great fun, it has the edge on Space Hulk for me, maybe it's the added complexity.
It was in theory a two game mini campaign type of thing, but the second game was over with the turn of a card (my marines, narrowly triumphal in game one, got to the objective with no genestealer blips to get in the way).
A little more of the same setting next, as 4 of us tried out the Death Angel card game. Intriguing mechanics, but brutal.
In between these games I managed to conduct a nice trade with Prim for some Skaven. The idea is to do a 3rd ed force down the line. Maybe 10 years down the line given the mini backlog and family stuff.
Unfortunately there was no good time to start Frostgrave, but there were some gorgeous miniatures and terrain for that on a great looking, snowy table from some of the Japanese guys. I hope to have a big game with everyone later this year.
Some beautiful Bolt Action minis from Mikballs, Komura, MtP and Yellowstreak. Very inspiring! Had a good chat with YS about Overlord, too. Some great ideas there formulating.
Sounds like this will be a truly epic event.
I think my attendance at the monthly event will be even more infrequent for a while- all the Lovejoys will be back in Lovejoy Towers very shortly.

Thanks to Underdweller for the game of Malifaux. My Hamelin crew managed a very marginal victory against Nicodemus and his house of never ending zombies.

Thanks to Lovejoy for the trade, Yellowstreak for providing the guns for the Atlantic Wall and to all for the conversation. :D

A great last day at Joshin. Not for any sentimental reasons, but for getting in two good games of Bolt Action against Komura and Mikball. Thanks guys!
