Ah, they were yours? Yes, I have both the tape and the dice. I found them as we were tidying up and forgot about them afterwards.
Remind me next time there is a game on and I will bring them along.[/quote]
Ah great news, thanks for hanging on to them. That's made my day, cheers mate!

Re: What did you do today.
Today I finished off my monthly goals.
Some British (light) Armour.

Some Lancastrian Bowmen for Lion Rampant.

And some D&D minis. There should have been 5, but 3 of them were left behind at the last gaming session. I'll post up pics once I get them back.

And a picture of what I plan to do for Overlord.

Re: What did you do today.
That there is a lot of minis. And a fair stack of blue foam, too. Best o luck
Recently, I have had no hobby mojo, so I have been doing other, non-hobby things. Such as...
watching movies. I watched all 4 Hunger Games films, which were actually a lot better than I expected (occasional silly moments aside.) Sometimes predicatable, sometimes genuinely a bit surprising, but overall held together by Jennifer Lawrence being a much better actress than one might imagine. Also, I approve of them being one, long story, as opposed to 4 separate films about separate events that happen in the lives of the same people.
playing PC games. I finished Dying Light, which is an excellent zombie survivor game. Goes on a bit long though (I clocked 70ish hours all in, which in my opinion is too damn long for a game of that nature. Still, the customisable flaming electrified cricket bat with nails in it makes up for a lot of the game's shortcomings. That, and the freedom of movement around the map, which is unrivaled in my experience. You can go anywhere.)
I also started Warhammer: Total War, which does exactly what it says on the tin. I'm playing the VC just now, using Von Carstein as my Lord. I had a bit of a false start the day before yesterday, but I started again today and am doing much better. Having played TW games before, I know a bad start can utterly shaft you in the long term, so decided to go back and redo the first couple of turns. Next up: The battle of Hel Fen (mark 2...) Also, Varghulfs rock.
Saying bye to Ashmie. I have no doubt he'll be back on the forums fairly shortly, but since until today he lived about 20mins walk from my house, he'll defo be missed. Haste ye back, Ash!

Re: What did you do today.
Tonight I renewed my somewhat tortured relationship with VMC 70.830 German Fieldgrey, and got some work done on some of my Germans.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Today I started on my Overlord terrain. I undercoated a bunch of minis and got the topcoat down on some Hiwis. Now I'm on my way to see the Regeneratin' Degenerate.

Today, I learned that I intensely dislike painting mark 2 Space Marine armour. Thankfully, I only need to paint five of them.

What makes them worse to paint than other marines?AndrewGPaul wrote:Today, I learned that I intensely dislike painting mark 2 Space Marine armour. Thankfully, I only need to paint five of them.

The layered armour and the rivets - it just adds so many more bits that need highlighted.
