Great work. I really love setting time aside to paint just one nice model.

Good stuff, keep it going.

Well, I spent a productive two hours this evening painting...a carapace. Yup. Just one carapace. Its quite a big un, though - Deathjack's. Not even the whole carapace, mind you. Just the basic bits. The fancy edging and as-yet-undecided runes are still to come.

Anyway, its a nice carapace. All blendy and stuff. Looks like a mochaccino :D

So can we start calling it the 'Death-latte' now? The 'Frappaccino-jack'?

After finding I've been slowing down on the painting of Really Tiny Models, I decided yesterday to return to the Gobbo Project for a bit of a break, and finished up the Spider Riders.

Image

A bunch more spear-goblins are currently getting primed. Only about 100 more to go before I have my 1000-point core done! (The second 1000 points'll be easier, since it'll be more-expensive units like trolls, a giant, spear throwers, stone throwers, etc.)

Looking good there TOD.
Don't forget to leave plenty of time for your 1:1 scale project. No paint required but will keep you busy for at least 20 years :)

Well, you could paint it, but the wife would probably get a teensy bit upset.
