Got another Mutie Disk painted, and another better than half done. Still need to cobble together a 4th. Was stuck on the design, but just had a brainstorm and it should all come together pretty soon.
Put a shield on that Diggachick. More lumpy fingers, straps are not natural..... might carve the forearm off and try again.

Yesterday evening, I managed to spend some time at the hobby desk. I got the first coat of paint onto some British Armour for Bolt Action and spent a couple of hours hacking up some blue foam and making progress on my fortified beach.

Congratulations to spev for his speedy painting, which far outstrips anything I aspire to. Ganbatte to Prim - I look forward to seeing many pics of the finished item. And hats off to Konrad for his continued lovely work on the muties, if such aberrant scum can be described as lovely :)

As for me, I've been in Nagano since Wednesday, which while playing merry hell with my painting schedule has given me some time to make inroads into the Infinity rulebook. A very solid set of rules, but damn are there a lot of them. Feeling quite pumped to paint some infiniminis when I get back, though :)

Today all my books and gaming gear arrived from Japan. I used Kuroneko on their maximum tier of 18 boxes. It took just under 3 months and was the best service I've used for shipping. It was door to door and I was amazed when a Japanese guy drove all the way from London especially for my delivery. He was in a Kuro Neko van and wearing the uniform! Unbelievable. I gave him a cup of green tea and he brought all the boxes in for me.
I now have an all singing all dancing Lovecraft and roleplay game library. Finally the world is mine! LOL
There are a fair amount of comics, Stephen King and Fighting Fantasy included also. I'm very relieved as this is the first time all my stuff has been in one place since about 1998. Things are finally coming together and I feel the tide is changing. It feels like a closed chapter now looking at all this stuff I accumulated over there but nothing but fond memories and I'm glad I had such an unusual and rare experience. Still having the gaming stuff proves it wasn't all a dream.
Enjoying life at home finally but missing some aspects of Japan, the food, friends, beautiful people and women. Oh you better believe it, I forgot how ugly we Brits can be. :)
I still have 5 boxes of minis and scenery to unpack. The loft is full and we don't have space for my armies. I'll tackle that tomorrow. Cheers ma dears. Keep cool in the heat. Drink a lot.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

One of my clients is at BOYL at Wargames Foundry today (lucky bastard), and he showed some work I'd done for him to Tony Ackland! He said that he liked it and that it was interesting :)

I'm pretty chuffed about that :D

And of course, more nekkid Diggaz. Pretty happy with her bod, the face is an improvement, and not so happy with the details. Getting there.
