What did you do today.
Re: What did you do today.
Sounds perfect, I'll check it out.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

To clean to be Nurgle, not angry enough for Khorne, Tzeentch would need more arms/legs/wings, so it has to be Slaanesh by default.jehan-reznor wrote:How would you get that idea?Primarch wrote:Slaanesh Defiler by any chance?
Unless you're one of those wierd 'undivided' types?
Anyway, today I assembled 22 British Infantry and a British truck. I also began cutting up blue foam for the last of the Overlord boards. The previous one isn't finished yet, but I can only cut up the foam when we have a 'plastics' garbage day the next morning. Don't want to leave that stuff lying around the house.
Still need to buy a bucket of sand and a few gallons of paint of course. Probably a kilo of flock as well.

Awww... there's a kitten, too.
The past week or so I've changed course and worked on my Gendarmes. I'll do a bit more work on the figures and the horses tonight.
As for BA stuff... I did receive an order of transports and such. September's target.

Re: What did you do today.
Back in Japan since a week past. I've almost, but not quite recovered from an oddly lingering jetlag, and after 3 days of open school (i.e., shilling for new students to keep the private school I work for in funds) I am in the tailend of my summer off. Caught a nice summer cold from the students already.
Yesterday did some visa stuff (I'll apply for marriage visa extension and permanent status at same time), today was a fairly exhausting family day. Drove the family to and from the Anpanman Museum, experienced delights of said place, and ended up carrying wayward 15 kg son a lot in the heat. My wife had a splitting headache to cap off the journey, we had a pretty fun time though nevertheless.
Hobby, not much, but I did pull out all my unpainted late war Brits for Bolt Action, so now I know where I am more or less for October's bash...

Re: What did you do today.
Today I took pictures of this month's work.
First off, 3 British Tanks and an Armoured Car.

23 German Panzergrenadiers.

A German Howitzer (with crew) and a PaK36 (without).

5 Minis for D&D.

And some scatter terrain for Bolt Action.

Re: What did you do today.
Drove out to Chez Pikey in Toyohashi for a couple really fun games of Epic - 'Nids versus Squats in both cases, and once he figured out how to protect his war engines from Lictors and Raveners things got really close. Good Time Had By All - Thanks Mike!
Edit to add: Oh, and Mike: Miniatures Market does not have starter sets for the Game in Question, but they do seem to sell all the components you might need separately, since the rules are available for free online. It's like $7 (US) for a set of 4 ship mats, $9 for a pack of counters, then $15 or so for individual ships - and most of the reviews seem to say that two ships per side is sort of a sweet spot for complexity and fun. HMMMM!
