Yep scrubbed with alcohol after washing them.

That's odd. Both companies' figures are doing that? Did you give them a spray of primer after you cleaned them?
Yes the primer works fine, but some area's are hard to reach so used tamiya and vallejo to reach the hard to reach areas. even after cleaning the plastic felt slippery, i wonder if it is because the type of resin they used.

Got the little army dudes that I have pretty much all based up, and risked the Wrath of Fort Knox by ordering a couple dozen guys from Peter Pig to fill out the platoon. If I survive said Wrath, hopefully I'll buy a Panzergrenadier platoon and an infantry gun for them next month.

It's just gap filler, sand, flock, and static grass, but it feels good to do some hobby stuff after my summer of non-productiveness.

Got this guy finally done a couple weeks ago. Computer problems, so did not get him loaded up. That makes 4 Muties and more importantly a starter Mob. I swore I'd never make another one, as they are a scrapload of work to cobble together. But I just happened to spot a pack of the Gundam-gubbins I used to make the floaty-disk bits and picked on up. Just in case.
The Ork Skull and rifle stock stuck in that lumpy, ugly case are from oymaru press molds. Pretty happy with how those particular bits turned out. Handy stuff that oyumaru.
Besides that, it's back to sculpting Digga-chicks. One of these days I'll get one right.
Got a pack of the "S" grade Milliput, figuring the "smooth" stuff would be even better than the normal grade stuff I mix in with the Procreate. Nope. Avoid. Much to dense, heavy and surprisingly sticky. I'm going to muck about a bit with it at 100% and see what I can build with it, but not optimistic.

Got mine yesterday, but seeing as it came in the same box as Konflikt 47 I haven't actually opened it yet.

@konrad - that is some top shelf stuff on that mutie. Conversion is very thematic, and the colours (as always) reek of post apocalyptic shenanigans. Very nice work :)

Just a thought for future chaps, but the sword is kind of sticking out at me. It seems a bit too shiny and Imperial compared to the rest of his stuff. Maybe a machete or cleaver would fit better? Or at least ding up the sword a bit, add some strips of cloth to the hilt for grip, etc. Meh, it's a minor gripe, but I can't unsee it now I've noticed it...

Yep, it's sticking out, and then gits stuck in an infidel greenskin. It was a toss up whether to keep it clean or bang it up. I decided as this is a leader type, he keeps his archotech-magic sword shiny.

Kojibear had a rare day off and came down to Chateau Pikey to take part in the Tokai area's first ever game of Bolt Action V2 (I assume). It was my Fallschirmjager under Koji's command against my Maoris and I in 'Top Secret'.

I gave the Germans an Oberleutenant (1st Lt) because I had points left over and I wanted to see the new officer rule in action. It didn't seem overpowered or that open to abuse. It was quite situational and Koji only used it twice IIRC, the other turns he didn't really need it. I don't think we need fear 'daisy chaining' officers ruining the meta just yet.

The slight nerf to Recce wasn't too bad. It might mean fewer Pumas and more light MG armed recce vehicles though which is as it should be IMHO.

The template thing wasn't a problem either, although it did throw up one strange situation regarding artillery crews. KB hit my 25lber which has 6 models on it's base but RAW has a crew of 3. All 6 figures were under the 3inch medium artillery template, giving 6 hits, right? But how about if the reverse had happened to his little Para popgun 105mm which only has 3 figures. If it were hit by the same weapon or something larger you can still only get 3 hits. Seems a bit odd. It didn't matter as 3 hits from a 105mm duly obliterated the RAW crew anyway. I wonder if a 'certain' type of player will start modelling arty crew for advantage. What say you savages?

Anyways, we had a great game with the Maoris sticking it to their bitter foes, the FJ, with their superior rugby skills. Kia Kaha. Cheers KB!

The new template rules Vs. guns seem fine. All your crew must be within 2" of the breech and 1" of each other. Even the smallest template will still hit two of your crew.

If you have extra crew on your base, you should probably indicate which ones are 'real' at the start of the game.
