I should be there now, but google has walked me out into an empty field in exactly the wrong direction.

I need to pay more attention.

It was good to see everyone today, sorry I couldn't stop and chat. I still have a lot to do to prepare for the invasion of Europe next month. :D
Congratulations to Sugiura san for smashing my German troops off the table. I'm looking forward to a rematch soon.

Thanks Asch and MiJ for the games of X-wing. It was good to get back to a galaxy far, far away!
So many games, so little time....

Many thanks to Asch and YellowStreak for the games of X-wing. Razzin frazzin imperial oppressors, can't a man do a little tradin' with 'is mates without the Feds gettin' involved? :P

Also many thanks to Underdweller and her filthy rezzers. One of these days we'll actually get to finish a game, hopefully :)
Btw, we played that red joker wrong (not that it would've made any difference). When you draw a red J on an attack, it counts as a 14, choose-your-suit, and you flip for damage as appropriate to the difference in attack scores. You only get weak+strong if you flip the red J on the damage flip. Not sure where it says so in the rulebook, but th Internet hath spoken, and it's pretty clear about it. At least we know for next time :)
Hopefully see you all next month :)

Thanks to everyone for the introduction to Strange Aeons. It was a lot of fun. I'll have to look into starting up my own gang of Thresholders.

Thanks to MIJ for the game of Malifaux. I was glad to get the chance to try out Seamus and his crew, if only for part of a game.

Apparently the original rulebook has a misprint. I am pretty sure that came up before, maybe in a game with Primarch. I couldn't remember what the correct rule was though, and I guess it didn't make much difference in our game, as you said. I will write it in my book for next time, though!

Thanks YellowStreak and MiJ for tutorial of X-Wing for me and my son. I enjoyed the game and will talk with my Treasury (who did her knitting downstairs today) about the budget for expansion. Actually, my son has also enjoyed his experience. Thank you for your welcoming attitude for a kid, of which I often to be short.

As for my coming hobby project, I decided to give 40K kill team game a shot next month, so that my son would have a game with his "troopers" (marines from Maccrage).

Thanks to Underdweller and Itakura for some Strange Aeons. I really do love that game. If only the blasphemous, soul-devouring collection of arcane inscriptions penned in human blood by a mad Arab that passes as a rule book were somewhat better organized.... Trying to look up anything in it inflicts insanity and death plus a d6. And MIJ, thanks for the Chaos Dwarves. Just need to oldhammer myself another half dozen and I can play some Frostgrave or Mordheim of HORs or something. And man, X-wing sure sounds like fun. So many toys, so little time.
@Asch- check out the One Page 40K (and it turns out One Page just about everything! ) rules. https://onepagerules.wordpress.com/ I've been looking at them, and they seem pretty kid friendly.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....
