More the latter, although the sort of customer who buys creepy ball-joint dolls can be... interesting.

(It should be said they also have a very good selection of tanks and stuff so it probably balances out.)

you have to wonder. did they start off with a dream of being the world's first combo tank/weird doll store, or did they start as, say, a doll store and one day say "y'know, i think we need to diversify a bit. How about some tanks?"

Well, there is (of course) a crossover market. (Nothing not-work-safe at that link, I just thought spamming the painting thread with pictures of battleship girls might be iffy, heh.)

I wandered into that doll shop accidentally on purpose last time I was in Nagoya. Took a look around and said to myself 'No, get out of here before it's too late for you Luke' 'Run Luke run'. Was quite traumatic and I was lucky to get outta there. A bridge too far for me. I have no objection to people buying dolls just I thought it wasn't my place to be there. Odd really as action figures and miniatures are the norm.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

The first of my paratroopers all done to completion. Not a great picture - macro photography with an iPhone 5 isn't that easy, heh.

Also tonight I got the uniforms done (trousers, smocks and helmets) on batch two, so wrapping them up will be a matter of an evening's work. Batch 3 (the last of the infantry and the tank) will hopefully get primed tomorrow, if my can of black spray holds out.

I've painted both versions of Tristan Durant for Warmachine, plus a Vanquisher:

And some ships for Battlefleet Gothic. Each of these four-ship flotillas was painted in a single evening.

Judging by the Blood Bowl and Epic re-releases, I'd give better-than-even odds that the rerelease will be in a new scale incompatible with the old.

nice BFG ships, AGP. Has your DFC stuff arrived yet? Still waiting for ours... :(

I've been working away on the bronzey bits. Finished the legs this evening:

Next up, guns, tentacles and head. Then main body. Then weathering begins
