But you only need 3 x-wings/tie fighters to play it.

I sort of prefer to live in a state of blissful ignorance regarding my aggregate hobby spending...

Tonight I finished up 6 more Scourge frigates - the shooty-uppy ones and the shooty-downy ones, one of which is called Scylla and the other Charybdis, which, while very characterful, is probably going to be impossible to keep straight in practice. Only 4 more Scourge ships till I've painted everything I own!

Also primed up the rest of my PHR ships - 6 frigates and a cruiser - and thought a bit about how much I'd need to spend to get the PHR up to 1500 points. The answer is about 80 GBP, which would easily qualify for free shipping from Firestorm... HMMM! We'll have to see how much of my winter bonus is free for spending-on-myself, methinks.
Feel free to call me Dave!

Through an error on my part i scheduled a Kingdom death game on the same day as the Jigg Kobe boardgame meeting last Sunday :(

It was a fun game, the prologue went well and we killed the lion easily, the settlement phase i chose a "skill" that was not very good for the longevity of the Doomhaven village.
Anyway lost one of the first survivors in child birth, but the kid had some useful skills, then on our Hunt Event, 2 of our survivors died falling (or staying)
on a huge monster we encountered, and our shiny new breakable gear broke, so we had to fight another lion with only 2 survivors, we whittled it down to it last few wounds
then a "lucky" roll instantly killed me and my mate Ben had to face the White Lion alone, still he managed to kill the Lion so it toke the dead of 4 survivors,
one at the Settlement and 3 at the showdown to kill the Lion. still an enjoyable game ;)
Also postscript - 4 more "survivors" committed suicide, and another died in childbirth.
I think we concluded that the remaining 4 survivors would be better off without our guidance.

Don't suppose there is "Dwarven Smithy" or "Deserted Tavern" anywhere on that post-game phase chart is there?

But Kingdom Death: Monster is such a merry sounding game....

Last weekend I got this model finished, just in time for the Black Powder game.

As usual here is my semi-irregular contribution to this thread.

The Defenders of Bir Hakeim, French Foreign Legion and Pacific Colonial Troops. 1000pts or so, ready to go.

A M3 Grant to support my Maoris in the desert, or not, as the case may be.

Image

Their opponents from Panzer Armee Afrika are also ready to get an undercoating in the next few days.

Finally, the first ruin, for my Monte Cassino/Urban ruin board.
